Introduction
Managing people at the organisation is helpful for make a subset to use resource
management techniques. The HR of the company is able to use different functions and role to
manage and understand their people in an effective manner (Aceto and Ingólfsdóttir, 2021). The
chosen organisation for completing this project is Easy Jet, it is a low cost European airline
company. They operate their services in over 1000 schedule routes in more than 30 countries via
their affiliate airlines. The airline company seen their expansion after its establishment of 1995
and complete the demand of their customers for low cost air travel company (About Easy Jet,
2021). This report includes the three main segment of people management related to leadership
and management, training and development and talent management which are related to work in
different functions of HR. furthermore, some recommendations are provided for easy jet to
manage and applicable in society for the appropriate growth and development of the company in
their competitive market.

Leadership and Management
These two terms are interlinked and interdependent to each other which helps the
company to expand and make a growth in market. Building an innovative leading skills and
generally categorised in an effective management system will help the company to growth into
the market. The use of effective training and management process are helpful for understanding
the system and achieve higher level of effectiveness which are needed to be acknowledge
through the leadership and management process within the Easy Jet. With the help of effective
cultural and management practices the company is needed to make strong business participation
to make advance business development (Altmayer and Schwarz, 2021). It further helps in
addressing and managing different business operations functions in Easy Jet which helps their
manager to choose right approach or theories for them. In the context of Easy Jet company, they
are using Blake-Mouton's managerial grid theory is used for identifying the best and appropriate
leadership styles.

This theory is developed to make manager's degree which are related to task centre or
people centre. This is subdivided into five major combination that is related to effective
leadership management processing system (The Blake Mouton Grid, 2021). Its stages are
explained below:
Improvised Management: In this the leaders are ineffective and indifferent from the
others. They have no concern for the people or the result of the company or their
management process. These type of management skills needed more improvement and
efficient techniques. Here, the company needed to motivate heir employees and make a
healthy environment for the growth and management process of the company.
Produce Management: It is also known as the authoritarian managers, who have the
options to low concern for their people and high concern for result. The team is needed to
make a secondary research and its productivity for analysing the challenge and improvise
the technique in an effective and appropriate manner (Dumont-Bergeron and Gramlich,
2021). The use of manager are needed to be make an autocratic rules which are helpful
for generating rules, policies and procedure for considering different formats to make an

Team Management: This is one of the most effective and appropriate leadership style. It
is helpful in reflecting the team and make passionate about their own work which are
needed to be carry and complete the working in an effective process. Team manager are
most probability prioritize the production function and growth for their own needs and
management process of the company (Laasch, 2021). It helps in managing and make sure
for analysing the process at organisational purpose and production need of the company.
Country hub Management: This style is most concerned about their team members and
needs rather their organisational goals. They assume that if their people are feel
motivated and happy then they are able to provide a systematic growth in organisational
objectives.
Middle of the road management: It is beneficial for managing and addressing the status
quo process to try and make balance result with the help of happy and satisfied people.
This is the technique which are needed to be work and provide a wide range of possibility
for compromise the high performance growth to people's need to fully and make changes
in the process of performance development (Langer and König, 2021).
In the context of Easy Jet, their manager and leaders are fall into the Team management
matrix which helps them to manage and provide a wide range of possibility within the company.
They are working appropriately and manage operational figures through the use of different
managerial perspective and growth. Some of the recommendations for the company in the
context of management and leadership approaches are related to:
They have to make a good brand image in airline industry and for that they have to make
motivated employees and staff in number of different ways.
They should make a formal leadership resources which is effective and ample need for
communication to related with HR department and performance review pattern within the
company.
They further make a focus on maintaining the desirable culture and growth in managing
effective leadership control for make a positive notion within the company (Levy and

The use of effective training and development refers to educational activities for
managing a company and its needed to be created to enhance the knowledge and skills. It further
helps in managing information and instruction on the managing better specific tasks. It revolve
the management for providing instruction for addressing better performance and project
activities. Easy jet are able to make effective training methods which are appropriate for
analysing the use of effective basic management and its applicability in different processing
system. They are focusing training and development process are used and analysed for managing
platform and lean different conceptual data in significant manner and growth (Parsons and et.al.,
2021).
To analyse and make more focus on the learning and development sessions are used to
manage different theories and framework in an appropriate manner. This model is propounded
by Peter Honey and Alan Mumford, they identify the four different approaches and people for

very practical approach and they are further related to down to earth process to get the

Reflector: They are the people who learn the concept which observe the conceptual
background and think about the concepts and growth. It further helps in managing and
prefer to watch and reflect in committing action development in managing growth. They
are effective in time management, proper investigation before doing the process and
manage basic growth in different conceptual data.
In the context of Easy Jet, the company have adopt various training and development
process which are helpful for the company to think before the process and reflect on the best
learning experiences. The manager and leaders are the one who are related to pragmatist and
complete their activities in more effective manner. Some of the recommendations are related to
they should work on the basis of training methods and approaches (Tatlow‐Golden and et.al.,
2021). They provide in and off job training methods to their employees and crew members for
get more successful growth into the market. Another way for doing more effective training
process is to retain employees for longer period of time and manage systematic growth in
different adoptive and managing techniques in an effective manner.

Talent management is one of the basic activity which is related to provide a full scope for
analysing and managing the HR processing to attract, onboard and developed the process for

and embrace the change management techniques for the growth and practices of the
company in an effective time period.
In the context of Easy Jet, they are able to apply different performance management tools
which are helpful for the company and their management teams to work effectively. These
techniques are essential for company's future performance and growth to complete basic features

department of employees and their functional areas.

From the above report, it has been analysed that the company should follow the effective
talent management practices which further provide a significant growth in addressing the
challenge and gain higher level of justification for their employees. In order to analyse and
mange the performance management system is needed to be complete working and analyse the
growth in relation to leadership and management, training and talent management process. It is
further analysed that the company is being effective and helpful for managing and analysing the
performance for addressing theories and recommendations which are associated to the above
three key functional areas. It is determined that the use of HR functions and its process in
managing performance management will be helpful in gaining higher efficiency network and
challenges.
