Workplace transformation is all about using new, effective and updated technologies so
that an organization can easily perform their daily functions in a systematic way. The main aim
of workplace transformation is to improve overall productivity of the company so that they can
easily survive in the competitive environment. In recent time, the global pandemic has been
enhanced need of workplace transformation. The pandemic has enhanced need of digitalization
and technology all across the world. During the COVID-19, individuals are likely to avoid
personal contact which facilitated the use of different technology equipments to get better
outcomes in significant manner (McCarthy, Sammon and Alhassan, 2021). The present study is
based on Easy Jet that is a well-known airline based on UK. It is a British low-cost airline that
was founded by Stelios Haji-loannou in 1995. The report aims to assess the impact of pandemic
over workplace transformation practices being adopted by the company.
Research Aim:
“To analyze impact of global pandemic on accelerating workplace transformation”. A case study
on Easyjet.

Rational of research
The main aim of conducting project on the given topic is to analyze the impact of global
pandemic in acceleration of workplace transformation. It is analyzed that pandemic has been
enhanced the significance of transformation within organization. The present project is also
beneficial in terms personal & professional context. The current research is useful in terms of
improving the knowledge base of researcher regarding different skills and competencies like
communication skills, presentation skills, data analysis & research skills and more. These skills
are likely to contribute in future growth and career enrichment of the investigator in longer run.

more. These latest and updated technology is helpful in making the work process easier to
improve overall productivity in significant manner.

people used to avoid personal contact hence they prefer online practices. Here, workplace
transformation facilitates the use of digital practices at workplace that not only improves the
overall experience of customers but also increase the productivity. By implementing digital
technologies, EasyJet can easily enhance their potential. In addition to this, it will make the work
process easier and also useful in terms of minimizing the cost. Therefore, workplace
transformation within the respective company is helpful in increasing the efficiency to generate

Research Methodology
Research Philosophy: It refers to the believes and assumptions of researcher regarding a
specific topic (Rosskam, 2018). Out of two philosophies such as interpretivism and
positivism, there is selection of positivism philosophy as it is useful in getting objectify
outcomes for further betterment.
Research Approach: Two major research approaches are deductive and inductive.
However, present research study is based on deductive approach with an aim to get
quantified results to complete the study in a systematic way.
Research Strategy: In project study, there are ample of strategies are used such as case
study, survey and more (Flick, 2020). The present study is based on survey strategy so
that the information can be gathered from ample of respondents within limited time and
efforts.
Research design: Out of quantitative and qualitative research design, there is selection of
quantitative research design as it is based on numerical, mathematical tools to interpret
the information.
Data collection method: Primary data has been gathered from respondents through
questionnaire as it will help in collecting large amount of data for further continuation of
project work. Also, necessary amount of secondary data has been collected from
authentic websites, articles, publications and more.
