Introduction
Eating disorders are one of the most dangerous issues faced by people. it is a kind of disorder in
which abnormal eating habits of people can negatively affect their mental and physical health.
The eating disorder has biological as well as environmental causes that impact the health of
people. An eating disorder is divided into various categories like anorexia nervosa, bulimia,
rumination disorder, etc (Vall and Wade, 2015).
Bulimia disorder affects the person mental as well as emotional health. it is caused when
people eat over and suffer the problem of overweight. It causes various health concern
problems like depression, anxiety, obsessive behaviors and many more. People suffering from
bulimia also face a problem of low blood pressure and heart rate (Udo and Grilo, 2018). Many
areas of the body like face, mouth, and pancreases are also badly affected by bulimia disorder
which makes the person weak. People who are using diuretics and laxatives may face difficulties
in the future regarding their digestions and health. Overuse of laxatives can also damage
kidneys and therefore causing serious kidney disease (Marco, 2017).

After analyzing the data we got to know that approximately 64.1 % of people feel guilty and
remorse while eating a particular food. Eating is the basic need of every individual.

After analyzing the data of respondents it is clear that 67.3 % of people don't like eating
continuously after they start feeling full and satisfied. But on the other hand, there are still 32.7
people who prefer earing always.

It is very surprising to know that more than 50% of people don't prefer to eat oily and junk
food. The respondents are scared of being overweight. The data clearly shows that about 45.5
% individual don’t worry about their health and weight

The data shows that 61.4 % of people don't like checking their weights regularly and on a daily
basis. But there are still 38.6 % of people who are very health conscious and follow all the

After conducting research we came to know that 53.5 % of respondents don't use laxatives in
order to lose weight (Greenhalgh, 2016). They are aware of the negative effects of using
laxatives may harm their physical and mental health.

It is very surprising and shocking to know that most of the people eat food without telling
anyone. Almost 56.4 respondents prefer to hide food and other eating items. There are more
than 40% of people like eating in front of everybody without feeling awkward and shame.

After conducting research it is obvious that more than 50% are diet conscious they like eating
the most. On the other side, there are approximately 46.5% of people who think overeating can
cause an end number of health issues. They go for diet most of the time in order to reduce
various health problems.

and mental health. More than 50 % of people do not give much importance to their physical
