JUSTIFICATION
In this assignment poster design method is selected for helping the colleagues to adopt evidence-based
practice as the crucial step to understand various effective approaches in clinical practice as it
comparatively easy to interpret all the necessary ideas relating to the concept. Harvey & Kitson, (2015)
highlighted the benefit of using evidence-based practice in understanding the advantage of decision
making in clinical practice as a part of their professional practice. The researcher explained the positive
impact of evidence-based practice in developing the health promotion strategy. In this poster design
the definition of evidence-based practice was explained stating the importance of decision-making
practice. The primary role of EBP was explained in health promotion through the development of EBP
health program comprising of preparation, execution and evaluation (Ellis, 2019). The barriers that
hinder the development of decision making was explained in this design to understand various
approaches that can be highlighted to overcome those barriers and learning about the effective
facilitators that boost the concept of evidence based practice. Leach, Hofmeyer & Bobridge, (2016)
stated that use of evidence-based practice has a significant effect on developing the research skill of
undergraduate research student. The researcher identified the barrier that was responsible for decreased
approach of evidence-based practice and highlighted that barrier in order to overcome the facilitation of
evidence-based practice. Hence, this poster design approach will help in developing the idea regarding
the basic principles of evidence-based practice (Reichenpfader, Carlfjord & Nilsen, 2015)
