Introduction
It is extremely beneficial for the healthcare practitioners to incorporate the learning received
from the Evidence Based Practices as it allows them to enhance the services that are provided to
the patients. The study will be depicting the influence of research in the development of EBP in
health and social care along with the qualities that are required to conduct a literature review.
The study has also depicted a suitable literature review on examining the approaches of
embracing dignify as well as respect to the patients that can enhance the quality of the services
and their satisfaction. Furthermore, the benefits of the EBP in carrying out a research
successfully has been depicted along with a proposal based on the influence of evidence based
practice in the enhancing the quality of services that are provided to the patients. Furthermore,
the different ways in which a literature can be helpful for evidence based practice in health and
social care has been depicted in the study.

The health and social care involves several procedures where the practitioners have to ensure that
the services that are provided to the patients have to be of yardstick quality. Therefore, it is
obligatory for the practitioners to research and gain knowledge regarding various administration
as well as practices that have to be provided to the patients. Furthermore, in order to enhance the
safety and quality of the services that are offered to the patients, this is highly preferred by the
patients. Research not only allows the healthcare practitioners to enhance the quality of the
services but also develops the competencies of the practitioners in the modern technologies that
are used for catering the patients.

Reflection
I have ensured that the development of the literature is in accordance to the topic that. Gibb’s
reflective cycle is one of the most used self-reflective model and by using it, it can be said that I
have faced certain issues while gathering knowledge to create literature review. On the other
hand, a brief secondary research is also done which has introduced certain issues for me in initial
phase. By evaluating these issues in my work, I would take a better approach to collect data from
secondary sources in order to avail a better result of my work.
