Everything But The House (EBTH)
Methodology Background
Everything But the House (EBTH) is a Cincinnati-based organization that operates an auction
website. The company experienced massive sales owing to the digital transformation. It could
increase its sales from $8 Million in 2012 to $70 Million in 2016. Jacquie Denny, co-founder
of the organization has anticipated that the sales will increase to $120 Million in the current
year. The use of Waterfall model shall be done in the determination of the project
specifications using the business case (Lott, 2013). The approach is a phase by phase
approach that proceeds in the set of linear sequential steps only. EBTH is an auction website
and the domain analysis for the organization shall be done to determine the specifications.
The observation of the current website, interview sessions with EBTH employees, customers,
and stakeholders shall also be done along with the group discussions. The organization
currently follows agile and flexible approach in its processes. The Waterfall model for
determination of the business case project specifications shall be amalgamated with the agile
method. The testing process shall however be conducted at every phase and the specifications
shall then be sent to the management for approval.
Resource Needs
Project Manager, Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Technical Expert, and Technical Writer
will be needed for the project.
