The chief issue of concern that is impacting on the children and their
families suffering from homelessness and disabilities are as follows
1. Accessibility and transportation: Lack of effective
transportation makes it difficult for both the adults to earn for
their living and perform their day to day activities. For
children it is making it difficult for them to reach academic
institutions
2. Lack of ramps for individual with wheelchair: makes it
difficult for them to make movements
3. Lack of elevators: makes it difficult for them to make
movements
4. Lack of employees
5. Lack of money for funding to print materials for support
All the above mentioned issues can be considered as a basic support
that is need by the children and their family to lead a normal life.

The chief stakeholders who are involved with this issue includes
1. The children and their family members: The responsibility of
the children and their family is to ensure active participation
in the program (Ministry of Education , 2014).
2. The managers: The role of the managers will be to manage
the programs in an effective way. Their chief responsibility
will include following the CCEYA regulations
3. The counsellors: The chief role of the counsellor will be to
provide guidance to the children and their family members
with disabilities. Their chief responsibility will include
following the CCEYA regulations

The relevant the legislation that obliges the early childhood educators
to address the issue includes
 CCEYA: The Child Care and Early Year Act came into effect
31st August 201, and the purpose of this act is to provide
information about the needs that must be met within the early
learning and care settings
 Human rights code of AODA : this act oblige organizations to
complete a particular accessibility accommodation on the
basis of the number of staffs
 Code of ethics: It is a guide of principles that has been
designed for helping professionals to conduct a business with
honesty and integrity.
The relevant community resources that possess the potential to help
the researcher in this issue are as follows;
The code of ethics: This resource will be used by the researcher since
t s a aspirational firework for reflection about ethical responsibilities
of childhood professionals who their work with or work on behalf of
the children and their families. The core principle of Code of ethics is
based in the prized value and fundamental value of the profession.
HDLH: the second resource that will be used by the mangers is
HDLH. This resource will help the managers to develop effective
learning resources. The HDLC refers to a professional learning
resource guide that is associated with learning with the help of
relationships for social workers who are working with young children
and families.
TF Act and regulation: This resource will help the managers to
arrange the programs without hampering the integrity of the
participants
Apart from these, other community resources that will be necessary
for the program will include;
Community members as participants and volunteers: Population
assistance from both the children and their families will be required
in order to ensure success of the program. Along with this active

participation of the community members as volunteers is also
required.

What actions should be
taken to address this
issue?
In order to address the issue associated with lack of wheelchair,
elevator, transport and financial resources, the chief action that will
be taken includes organizing campaigns for collecting funds. In order
to deal with the shortage of employees, emergency recruitment of the
same from the community will be performed (College of Early
Childhood Educators., 2017).

expect to see from
addressing this issue?
Explain your answer.
It is expected that with the help of the program, we will be able to
raise adequate funding in order to provide effective support to the
children and their families. Providing ramp, elevator and
transportation will help them to lead their day to day life effortlessly.
This in turn will help them to study effectively.
