Introduction
In this assignment, a studied was made about the company whose name is Eco-Fone and this
company is UK based organization conducting the business of selling smart-phones and
accessories also related to mobile phones. The Ec0-Fone also runs two other shops situated at
Putney and Richmond. From this report, it is clearly understandable that the company have a
good financial condition because of earning a good income from its subsidiary shops and its
parent company as well by selling its product. In this report, the different variance is seen and
their net- taking also be different, by the use of each individual net-taking of the shop mean is
being calculated in order to evaluate the performance of the shops in relation with the
organization. After analysis each part of the business it advice has to be given to the company's
management regarding the expansion whether it is good for the organization in future on the
basis of analyzing internal and external factors.

a)
The market of smart-phones in the United Kingdom has been increasing rapidly because of each
organization in the market want to cover more market share by the introduction or/ and
improving new advanced technology in the manufacturing of smart-phones. The reason for being
increase mobile market is because at present people of the country is used mobiles phones not for
the calling purpose only but now it facilitates people more and makes the life easy and smooth.
The reason for being growing of smart-phones is because of in present days it is the symbol of
status which shows the people financial position. Due to using new techniques in the
manufacturing process of mobiles phones, it decreases the cost of smart-phone which encourage
to purchase and it can be seen in every person hand (Deloitte, 2015). An eco-fone organization
using the same technology of manufacturing so it also be can able to make the effective price of
smart-phones and its accessories so that it can be able to cover a wide range of market which
help the company to achieves more profits.

Above is the bar chart represent the uses of smart-phones by the public of UK for various
purpose such as using for E-mail purpose, made call, observe and monitor documents and also
for manage calendar in order to plan accordingly. The green bar related to the 2016 and blue
shows 2017 both years present the uses mobiles phones for the above purposes. Hence it is clear
using smart-phones has been decreasing drastically in 2017 (Deloitte, 2015).

The line chart represents the change of situation of using smart-phones for the given years. It
shows that the uses of mobiles phones among the people has been rise every year because they
thought it is necessary and provide various benefits. On the basis of this reason and the rise in
use of phones every year, it is forecast that in the next upcoming year i.e. 2018 and 2019 it also
goes up. An increase is can be seen in the future period also because of increase the smart-phone
in the market and people knows the advantage of uses this like easy to use and enable to save
time and cost (BBC, 2017).

Task 3
In this section going to analysis the uses of smart-phones and provide the reason why it is so
popular among the existing customers.
A study is made taking 1153 people on a sample basis and asks them various questions for the
month related with May and June of this year. According to the author Kelion, it provides
information regarding the using mobile phones which already possess their own handset between
the age group of 55 years to 75 years old which is 71 percent out of the total aged group of this
range. It also is seen that this age group people influence towards using smart-phones more as
compared with the young generation people. The reason behind this because of mostly this aged
group people live single and they want to pass the time so it becomes more popular between
them. Using of smart-phones increased over the past year, this was the support that people
observe their phones every 15 minutes for a while. The using of phones every 15 minutes is 20
percent with the average based on national 56 percent. From this case study also seen the 70
percent which is half of the young generation installed a social media namely, Facebook and uses
this application frequently (BBC, 2017). It is also found that people who are rich refer to
purchase best to best smart-phones and also the parents of the children feel that mobile phones
are an important part in the field of education so they provide smart-phones to their children. It
was also been seen that if any want to purchase mobile phone the first time in their life span go
to choose to purchase smart-phones. As the new and improved technology used in the smart-
phones it encourages old customers to and famous among them because of new smart-phones
come into the market with new additional features which helps old customer as well the
company to maintain its customers by providing various features like screen size big, provide
simple steps in order to book taxi and send email instantly. In the same field of smart-phones
armlet, two companies Samsung and Apple also sold their mobiles phones in the market with
some extra features over the other like provide lock facility through the face system and other
(BBC, 2017).
