Linear equation provides you the effective assessment of the data by which it is easy to
understand the task through the linear equations. It helps to know the data in static form or we
can say in a line chart. In above there are 3 line charts are discussed which shows separate data
analysis of each line chart. The first line chart is of laptop which indicates the fluctuations in the
percentage criteria. Second line chart is of smart phone shows the positive impact. Linear
equation or line chart helps in understanding the information in easy and effective way. Third
line chart is of tablet which show the positive impact means increasing impact during the year.
Linear charts are the method or mechanism which helps in analyzing and converting the raw data
into the useful information it is based on the statics. Hence all the 3 line charts indicates different
analysis of data of each particulars referred in the equation, and also shows the positive,
negative, and fluctuating impacts during the year in the line charts. Line charts are the essential
tool for analyzing and interpreting data in the useful manner. Second and third line charts are

Z-test:
It can be explained as the statistical method that is utilized to evaluate the mean value of a
random variable to a specified value. It is a method which works under the Null Hypothesis so
that allocation of Test data can be guessed through a simple distribution (Kaur and Kumar,
2015). It is highly utilized for large samples to make the analysis process easy and less time-
consuming.
For the current situation, Z-Test (Two-Tailed) has been performed and following Null
Hypothesis (0.05>H0<0.05) was utilized:
As per given condition:
Particular Amount
Sample Size 40 40
Standard Deviations £40 £20
Mean £90 £100

Z-test formula:
Z-Test = 1.41
From the findings of Z-Test, results are 1.41 that is 0.158 in Table-Z. These findings are
concluding that null hypothesis assumption is not fulfilled here (Xlstat, 2019). It is enough to
conclude that the net takings of both shops are not the same.
