ECOLAB Pty Limited Is a company that focus on environmental cleanness. It has performed
very well in the provision of clean water, hygiene and energy that supports food production,
energy generation, healthcare sustainability, industrial and hospitality support. In that case, it
manufactures, distributes and markets detergents, germicides, pesticides and other materials that
are needed to clean the environmental elements. It also seems to be working towards improving
the health status of their customers all over the world. The work environment of ECOLAB
Company is environmental friendly. The company desires to become the world’s leader in the
provision of clean and environmental friendly water, hygiene, health and energy technologies
and services. ECOLAB hopes for the technological developments to improve its performance
and success.
Role of an Accountant
To add value to the company’s financial status by giving new financial ideas especially
possible investment opportunities
To always enquire about the company’s financial status and performance whenever the
records are nor clear
Is responsible for bringing different methods of utilizing the company’s funds and gain
profit
Should make sure that the problems involving the company’s financial records are solved
effectively and efficiently
Take care of all the financial needs of the supply chain department and account for them
To reach out to other different accountants (in the same company but different locations)
for expertise advices and referrals
To account for all financial resource usage
Record and document all accounts payable and receivables for the company

A new graduate is certainly not experienced in the field of study but is willing to learn. If the
graduate is employed by the ECOLAB Pty Limited, some of the roles that are given to them

To always work towards the company’s goals and objectives
Follow the rules and regulations that are set to guide the employees in general

and different from any other possible competition. The skills that every employee has can be a
major break-through for the during work application (Kantane et al, 2015). However, these skills
must go hand in hand with the company requirements and employee qualification. This is simply
because every company needs and wants different types of skills from different employees
(Arora, 2016). The following are skills that a potential employee of ECOLAB Limited must
have:

very different/ or they do not have a large variance but rather are able to complete each other.
Therefore, my personal skills can help me get a job as an employee in the company.

There are ways that a potential employee can improve their skill set, i.e.:
According to Dong et al, 2017, through education- technical skills like analytical skill can be
attained.
Practice- from this the skill of commitment, effectiveness and efficiency will be attained (Kehoe
and Wright, 2013).
Goal setting and willingness to change- one will be able to attain the skill of determination, focus
and perseverance (Dhar, 2015).
Group trainings- this will help one improve the skill on team work and gain team leadership
skills (Mpofu and Hlatywayo, 2015).
