INTRODUCTION
Mobile application, can be considered as an innovation after the evolution of mobile
phones and internet. Most of the companies, whether small, medium or large in order to
connect with its customers uses mobile application as their greatest source because in current
times mobile phones are available to every individual. This report will provide with an
insight of developing a mobile application along with its importance to e-commerce
companies so as to increase the sales and profitability during the period of pandemic where
going out from home is dangerous for oneself and for others as well. Therefore, the
requirement of developing a mobile application which can provide the service of ordering
essential items sitting at home is a great initiative (Aithal, 2017).

Rationale
The primary purpose for undertaking this project is to provide a satisfactory service to
customers through online mobile application in this pandemic situation. As it provides vast
and wider evaluation that help project manager and its team members to successfully evaluate
this project activities and also tries to attain positive outcomes. The main focus of this project
is to develop a mobile application by which e-commerce company can easily improve their
performance and also generate larger profitability. In addition of this, developing a new
mobile application is also beneficial in providing online services and make them safe and
secure. In this, people easily access the website through their mobile phones and get all the
necessary knowledge about the products that they want from the company for fulfilling their
needs instead of going to the specific store. It also may more effective in increasing
connectivity of people with company. This is the reason that online shopping is an effective
way to generate more profits in pandemic situation (Raut and et al., 2019). As it also may
assist in maintaining proper safety and security in context to people health by keeping proper
distancing in market place. Another reason of undertaking this project is that it is also
effective for project manager to enhance their personal and professional knowledge towards
the specified topic and area as well. Mobile applications can also utilized to improve
consumer loyalty by allowing companies to connect personally through their consumers via
In-App purchases, advertisements, promotions, and alerts sent to customers' phones through
mobile apps. The on-demand distribution company appears to be at its height mostly during

COVID-19 pandemic. This choice has been adopted by several distribution companies for
their company (Castillo and et al., 2017).

“To determine the importance of developing an e- commerce mobile application
for increasing the sales of company during this pandemic situation”. A study on
EasyGo.

 To determine the challenges that can be faced by e-commerce company at the time of
pandemic situation.

Developing a mobile application is one of the effective and best activity in Covid-19
situation because it provides a platform through which customers can easily order their
required products from home. In addition of this, most start-up companies will come up with
brilliant ideas about creating smart mobile applications for consumers. They should take
advantage of these circumstances and create perfect, outstanding apps that will reach the
market. E-commerce applications had reached the user market long before the global
pandemic affected (Rambocas and Sastry, 2017). An on-going epidemic has only contributed
to an unparalleled increase in popularity. With growing demands for basic necessities, such
online applications are the ones that came to help of locked-in residents within the houses.
While electronic delivery was in operation because of the distribution, most people declined
to purchase online and refused to look at the larger picture of how it would benefit. But
thankfully, there are delivery companies that adopt innovative approaches to retain their
business safe by disclosing their working methods, such as serving non-touch food / products,
possibly the best-sanitized delivery packages, touch-free delivery, and many more. If there
was a sector that has had a long development before, and is now angered to the point you
can't predict, it's retail. Retailers know what items their consumers want most and that one
could turn sales upside down (Davis and Comeau, 2020). Around this time, retailers can

either start a new business or improve their current company through an e-commerce channel
or create Consumer mobile applications. With the assistance of this, company boost their
sales and profitability level in this pandemic situation and at the same time also keep
customers loyal towards the company and its services as well without any kind of issues and
obstacles. As it is also beneficial in establishing competitive image at market place as
compare to its competitors (Parris and et al., 2016).

At the time of project planning, WBS play a significant role because it provides a
support in executing complex task activities in an effective manner so that outcomes of the
whole project can be easily attained. Mainly, WBS is a system for the completion of a

complex, multi-step project (Strydom and Rudansky-Kloppers, 2016). It's a way to divide and
conquer big tasks so that project manager can get things finished quicker and more
effectively. Project breakdown structure (WBS) is a hierarchical structure that describes the
proposal and task into smaller, more manageable components. The purpose of the WBS is to
create a significant task more manageable. Cutting it down into smaller sections implies that
work could be performed concurrently by multidisciplinary groups, resulting in increased
team quality and improved overall project management (Haldorai, Ramu and Murugan,
2018). In this regard there are some importance of work break down structure for project
manager are as follows:
 WBS Project Management demonstrates the project's goals as well as the research
that needs to be accomplished in the project, it also directs the project team to what
needs to be accomplished in a cohesive way. This eliminates unnecessary tasks and
anything not directly inside the development of the work.
 This provides the project managers with an appreciation of where their practical
implementation into the main project management program and provides them an
sense of the effects of their development work itself (Nuthall, 2018).

Reflection
As per current scenario, Covid-19 is one of the major issues and also a pandemic
situation that totally change the entire activities of the economy. It also changes the life style
of human being as their behaviour is also going through a major transformation that put
negative impact over their living style. In organization context, it also affects the sales and
profitability of companies. Total lockdown compounded the situation more prevalent as
individuals aren't really allowed to move out of their homes in order to monitor the spread of
infectious infection. As a result, online business took over the market and offered the
requisite goods during this pandemic. As a result, as this academic session starts, I slowly
look at the variables and elements that are influencing it. As a consequence, I determined
that, rather than impacting human lives, people are faced with the need to get their medicines.
In addition, in order to understand the purpose of the study, this could be clarified by means
of the Gibbs’ reflective model as well as the phases for proper analysis will be included.

Description: In order to carry out my study, I examine the challenges people face
throughout that pandemic, and I have therefore come to learn that elderly people and people
suffering from severe illnesses are reluctant to leave their residences since they are reluctant
whether they are infected with Covid-19. It was also the key reason why I chose the subject
for my evaluation, i.e. the creation of a mobile phone application. By this people can easily
buy all the necessary products and services through online platform and also keep social
distancing in this current situation. In addition to this, my process of developing a mobile
application will provide a best support to people who are not being allow to go outside and
buy products from specific stores. Along with this, it is also important for me to communicate
with team members before starting the project because they all are help me out in presenting
my new project. By this I explained my view and purpose of developing this new application
so that each and every member of my team will be agreed and convinced. Thus, I also learned
programs and at the same time also take many classes so that I can develop and enhanced my
knowledge to successfully develop the new mobile application for e-commerce company. As
people who wants to go online platforms for shopping purpose in Covid-19 situation can
easily use this app and buy products as per their requirements. This can be beneficial for e-
commerce companies in generating larger profitability by selling their services through
online mobile application.
Feeling: Under this stage, the main focus of mine is to successfully develop a new
mobile application. After communicating with my senior, I feel that I can easily work in a
team over the new task of app development. However, the tutor told me that there are still a
lot of mobile devices that operate in the very same area, so it's important to understand the
difference in order to stand out from others. Furthermore, to make the process simpler, I've
added a new feature to it that support in improving the efficiency level of the mobile
application. With the help of this, customers can access all the necessary information and
order the same to satisfy their requirements in context of products and services. With the
assistance of this, company also can easily connect with their customers and provide them
services accordingly. For making the application effective and successful, I have also
gathered some appropriate and relevant data. By this, I also present an alternative idea that
make more effective and at the same time my team members or my senior were convinced
towards the ideas. After this, me and my team members started our journey of developing a
mobile application that help company in enhancing their sales and profitability by serving
their products through online websites.

Evaluation: While designing the mobile application, my overall experience or
performance was surprisingly awesome, although I have difficulties handling the submission
of the application, i.e. and what were the choices that should be included in the system. But,
given the different types, the form was mixed up and did not operate. After this, I decided
that I includes all the necessary options that make the development of mobile application is
good so that company can easily serve their services in this pandemic situation i.e. Covid-19.
In this, me and may team members develop a mobile application but at the same time I
analysed that I needs support of my seniors and IT department. Their help and support help in
making the overall task easier and more successful as well.
Conclusion: At the time of performing in a team that is based on developing a
mobile application for increase sales of e- commerce business, I faced various issues that put
negative impact over the end goals and targets. But at the same time my overall experience
was very good because it taught me new skills and learning that support me in executing my
task activities more effective. By this project, I have improved my communication skills and
management skills. This is more beneficial for me in sharing as well as interacting with my
team members. With the help of this, I have also enhanced my knowledge about how to
develop an effective mobile application and how it helps in raising the profitability level of
the company.
Action: Under this stage of self-evaluation, I have completed all the activities I
analyse the necessary areas that is required for future improvement within the activities that
have taken at the time of performing tasks in a team. Therefore, for attaining success in my
future, I will be more punctual and organised that helps me in attaining all the set goals and
objectives in stipulated time frame.
CONCLUSION
t has been concluded from the above report that there is huge need of business
management exercise in compeltion of business activities. This aid in understanding of
aspects along with those which are important to carrying exercises in future. The benefit of
this ascertained in form of work done as per the pre determiend standards and attainment of
desired objectives. There are many other poistive attributes attached with the exercise
ofbusiness management towards an organisation such as competitive edge and improvement
of market base. In overal manner, this has huge contribition in direction of attining positive
results and sustainablity in business acpects.
