The e commerce project is all about the services given to the consumer. It is about the survey
and questionnaire. It can be defined as set of questions where the participants are invited to fill
the basic questions which are asked and they have to give the opinion and feedback about any
particular topic. However the questionnaire has its own pros and cons they are described below
:
Positive Aspects
Response rate incline : The people has participated in a large number as it is not of high cost
and reliable and provide the opinions are of many individuals which was not possible in offline
survey .
Low cost : the cost of questionnaire is not to much as it is reasonable sometime it is of free cost
this adds the advantage . Moreover the numerous website has been created for doing the
surveys .
Real time access : the answers of each and every individual are stored automatically so it does
not act as obstacle. By all these things makes the work effortless and efficient and every process
is done in a structured process.
The Negative aspects
Survey fraud : this is the one of biggest hassle any organisation of an individual faces is the
fraud and unethical as the surveys are confusing and perplexed and sometime the website
turns out to be unethical this makes the work insufficient and the chances of getting fake
answer are high which mechanically results inefficient research.
Respondent availability and limited sampling : there is the certain section i9n a society or a
group which are least interested in answering the surveys and responding the questionnaire .
Drawing the sample conclusion and response became tremendous task and difficult in website
and email address visitations.
No interviewer: the lack in proper structure and trained interviewer does not bring the clarity
and lucidly to the surveys and sometimes it can lead to inappropriate and lesser data collections

Data collection
the collected data should be reliable and consistent . The company has few statistical methods .
Test – retest: the whole consistency is measured to check whether the significant amount of
proportions are being used or not .

Interrater: in this method the consistency is checked as the data obtained from the same or
distinctive and different person whenever the survey is taken .
Internal consistency : it is measured whether the results is obtained same or by the other parts
of test designed .
Challenges
According to my experience there are the few hurdle and challenges are faced for instance
sometimes the questions in survey are misleading and confusing to understand .
The second is the question has blurry and fuzzed rating system.
Sometimes the questions are not specific or tells the exact problems and issue about the topic.
The online questionnaire seems to be effective and efficient when the data is being collected .
As being the user and experienced the surveys are the interesting and quickest and valuable
feedback are inspired . Moreover online data can be easily transferred and accessible anytime
anywhere.

maintainability and utility. There are various rulea nd regulatioons that are formulated by
government in order to promote business growth and its development of software application.
Risk
There are various risk involved in E- business as there can be risk of security purpose for
company. The system should be reliable in term of safety of data. There can be seen fraud in
some cases of online payment so it is needed to have proper payment gateway to facilitate
smooth payment.
Compliance
Non-functional business requirements related to compliance include:
 Specification – This is a major business requirement which is concerned with the laws
and regulations which it must comply with along with their nature and the terms
specified by them.
 Policy - Many important constraints that are placed on E-commerce firms which they
must comply with are extremely specified which the company should keep in mind.
Policy compliance is a major aspect of conducting e-commerce business.
 Standard - Different rules and regulations which are subjected upon such firms are
adhered to differently by the various departments of business and by evaluating the
specifications required by each department, proper compliance can be achieved.
 Law - Important e-commence departments such as online patents and trademarks,
inventory, billing and customer complaint are all liable for compliance against different
procedures which must be duly analyzed and adhered to. Different laws govern each
department's working.

business and constant disruptions ensure that new businesses always carry the risk of
tanking in the market

 Delivery time – One of the biggest constraints that the new e-commerce business can
run into is the lack of quality and timely delivery of goods to customer as it ultimately
defeats the purpose of owning a digitized business platform.
Assumptions
The most significant assumptions related to defining this project are:
 Pricing of product is an important assumption as the e-commerce company in this
report will run on the assumption that prices are adequate and fair
 The customer data which will be acquired through specially made surveys and
questionnaires will be assumed to be recorded in real time and authentic
 The data collected of users which use the website will be used for ethical considerations
