This research proposal, submitted for the BM631 Research Methods module, explores the application of Six Sigma and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within the e-commerce sector, specifically using Amazon as a case study. The study aims to determine how these tools are utilized to identify errors, improve performance, and enhance business outcomes. The methodology involves a deductive approach, employing quantitative research design, and utilizing both primary and secondary data collection methods. The research will gather data from 50 respondents using a random sampling method. The proposal outlines the significance of Six Sigma and KPI, their uses in identifying errors, and their role in improving business performance. The expected outcome is to understand how these tools contribute to e-commerce success, offering insights into their practical application and effectiveness.
