This project depicts the role of project management prcatices for successful
implementation of Ecommerce website and Mobile app for Book House Ltd.
The CEO of the Book House Ltd Mrs Sally Furgerson has actively maintained her
interest in projects just not by attending the steering committee meetings but also by collecting
required updates. Some of the functional and operational activities are requested to be changed
by the CEO. The project analysts and the programmer are asked for making these changes
respectively in the official website of Book House Ltd.
In order to follow best level operational and functional practices professional tools and
techniques are to be adopted by the project management authority of Book House Ltd. In order
to incorporate new functionalities or change management to the project practices the project
manager has asked to the system analyst or the system programmer. From the project
management perspectives the other functions that the project manager should incorporate include
motivation, leadership and managerial support.

It has been found that, the project manager has failed to take initiatives to keep
themselves involved to the project progress session undertaken by Book House Ltd. For the out
of scope request which indicate changes associated to development and design of new website
and mobile application for the Book House Limited the other actions that are to be adopted by
the project team include risk management and change management program.
As this is the 9th week after project commence thus, project progress report should be
tracked and monitored accordingly by the project manager. From project management
perspectives, for the case scenario of Book House Limited which deals with design and
development of websites and mobile app, security is one of the most things that should have to
be incorporated (Fleming & Koppelman, 2016). For designing the website and mobile app the
utilized SDLC development approach is the waterfall model. The Database Administrator is

responsible to design the database or server in such a way so that the confidentiality of the
system can be maintained accordingly. In other words, the content of the database of Book
House Limited should be well encrypted so that none of the unauthenticated users can access the
information from the server without permission. Whether the website of Book House Limited is
user friendly from the consumer’s perspectives or not should be tracked with the help of unit
testing, integrated testing and acceptance testing respectively.
The single dashboard must have proper alignment and design outlines so that, the
consumers feel attracted towards the website designed for Book House Limited (Kerzner &
Kerzner, 2017). Stakeholder management and communication management, risk management is
the other aspects ought to be followed and adopted by the project analyst and programmer to
address all the high level issues. The website should have some additional system specifications,
so that it can work in all platforms such as android, iOS etc. Accurate response for the system
testing and implementation are very much accurate so that it can meet the objectives.
