(Yann B. Ferrand, 2018). In addition to this, for technical purposes, a website designing and
marketing agency will be hired. Traditional, as well as modern means of communication, will be
used for the marketing of the website created for the purpose of e-commerce.
Requirements for intellectual property rights
There are chances that the company may lose its IP ownership so knowledge management policy
will be taken into consideration. An adequate level of transparency will be maintained along with
the desired secrecy in the working of the organization. All the staff members will be asked to
sign the confidential agreement so that they do not pass secret information to competitors of the
company. This will also prevent the company from legal controversies. An effective balance of
transparency and secrecy is very important for running the company successfully (Guanyi Lu,
2017).
Responsibilities in the acquisition of physical and human resources
The responsibilities will be assigned depending upon the capability of the individual. The work
groups will be formed like technical workgroup, marketing, and recruitment workgroup (Gopesh

field.

Activity 3
Development, Monitoring, and reviewing of performance system
The performance of each group will be evaluated collectively as well as individually; thus the
best performer individual in each group will be rewarded along with the best performing group.
There will be incentives in the form of prizes to motivate the employees to meet the desired
targets and work efficiently. In addition to employees’ performance, budgetary and productive
performance will be evaluated. The fiscal prudence will be kept in each expenditure done for the
implementation of the operational plan (Frank Wiengarten, 2017). The monitoring will be done
by the leader of the group and there will be a mid-term follow-up. The contingencies plan will be
implemented in case of any deviation from the desired goal.
Analysing budgetary performance
As mentioned above, the fiscal prudence will be maintained and at the end of the plan, the
budgetary analysis will be done. There will be an audit of all expenditure done for the purpose of
developing an e-commerce website. There will be the separate audit for each workgroup and the
best workgroup will be rewarded.
Areas of underperformance
The leaders will be asked to identify the weak employees and give them the necessary coaching.
The regular performance appraisal will be done to maintain efficiency in the working of the
organization. If the employee is not improving his or her performance after coaching and
repeated warnings, a suitable action will be taken against him or her (Mikko Ketokivi, 2017).
