With the speed of technological advancement in 21st century, there is development
of ecommerce. The research is conducted about the online shopping trend which is
spreading throughout the world using various shopping applications. One of the
earliest form of trade conducted online was IBMs online transaction processing
developed in the 1960s.
online shopping is the process of purchasing products by using electronic medium
where customer is connected to seller via internet .for instance smartdoko is an
online shopping destination in Nepal offering wide range of products where the
customer can purchase the product in a click rather than reaching to the shopkeeper
. smartdoko has been operating since two years.smartdoko discourage order via
social medias instead it ask for sign up to keep record of product order.the main
target of smartdoko is to provide digital supermarket in Nepal.

there were many limitations of study during our research. Some of those

2. The site was too far from our starting point, so we were already tired while
reaching there.
3. They do not provide us sufficient information as we need.
4. It was difficult for us to communicate with them.

The payment mode choose by smartdoko is according to the convenience odf
clients. They have offered various payment modes i.e.esewa,cash on delivery ,debit
card ,credit card etc. Though payment should be made as per agreed policy of the
shopping site.
Cash on delivery: It does not ,matter if there is no debit card or credit card .one
can use cash on delivery to purchase the goods.
Credit card machine: The delivery person carries the credit card machine ewith
him .the person who have credit card can make payment through credit card.
Esewa: Esewa is also the online payment system where customer should make
payment by transferring fund to the account of shopping site.

The website also provides the Privilege to compare the products.
Along with ‘cash on delivery’ , Smartdoko has also come up with ‘Card on
delivery’.

Followings are the weakness of smartdoko:-
