social media and E-commerce that create the cost for organization and reduce the profitability.
The people who belongs to lower class and unable to use social media then it created the
challenges for industry to regulate business. Social media is a mechanism that used by business
concern for the purpose of thinking strategically and increasing business activities. To adopting
new technology and social media also a business problem such as people who is working in
existing organization and performing their roles on daily basis will neglect or ignore to adopt the
changes that directly affected business negatively. For example, Tesco is the large size
organization where number of employees working collectively by using their skills and ability.
The company wants to grow its business so it introduces new technology and use of new
mechanism, it created the challenge for existing employees to implement in their working. To
bring new technology there is needed to conduct the market research that is difficult for
organization and impacting on business activities (Vithayathil, Dadgar and Osiri, 2020). The
another issue is training that needs to provide by managers to their staff in case of using
technology and social media that could be easy way to working but employees do not get ready
for taking training and development that impacts negatively resulting lower sales and
profitability.
Social media is major challenge for business industry such as there is chances of fraud
and misconduct that reduce the reputation of a running organization. It has seen that companies

use social media to create a need for customer for particular products and provide information
that can help to regulate the business. The sources of social media are Facebook, What’s up,
Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, Tumblr and others that used for different purpose and
influencing number of people regarding organizational products and services. In the study it has
found that 8% of companies had terminated staff due to social media usage as they leak business
information outside that affects business activities negatively. To adopt new technology and E-
commerce, needs of high investment and proper focus to reply their customers which is difficult
for organization resulting lower sales and productivity in changing environment. Social media is
the way of interacting with people and sharing information that supports customers to make
buying decision and attain the productivity. But it has negative impact such as mislead the
people, providing wrong information, consuming time and internet cost and difficult to use
anytime. This directly impacts on business industry (Yang, 2020).
CONCLUSION
From the above essay, it can be concluded that Ecommerce and Social Media platforms
are helpful in ensuring that the adaptation can be made according to the new technology. The
organizations will be able to ensure that they can make the essential adaptations in this way
which will help them a lot in the future.
