getting good life and employability. People migrate with the different reasons like employability,
good climate and strong wealth.

On other hand, pull factors attract the individual to become the citizen of that migrated country
and these factors impact both the countries(Harsh, Esteb and Maltese, 2017).
Factors causing to Migration
There are various factors which leading the individual to move from one place to another.
Push factor influence the individual to leave their native country in order to get the various
advantages of that region like crop failure, poverty, high rate of crime etc. There may be personal
reasons due to which an individual shift from one nation to another. Pull factor that includes high
employability, good climate, strong weather etc. Migrants play an important role in shaping the
country and its GDP by coming up new opportunities in the country. There are certain factors
that leads to development of the country by getting their potential population (Limbu, 2017).
Impact on the UK economy
Migrants impact the economy as giving the fiscal and economic development to the
country. United Kingdom is the developing country and more migration of the people making
the country stronger as increase in the number of population tends to coming up of new
employment opportunities and contributing to the nation's economy and increasing the GDP of
the country. For getting the good employability, the UK born people also enhancing their skills
and knowledge to meet the best job(Mandičák, Mesároš and Tkáč, 2018). Migration is also
making the diversified culture in the country and leads to making good relationship with other

nations. Student and working persons also impacting positively to the economy of the country
but ageing people tends to have negative impact on the economy as they can not contribute to the
development of the country. Increasing number of migrants leads to reduce the employment
opportunities for the people who are born in United Kingdom. If the people come from the
different nation have the wrong intention that will adversely impact the economy of the country.
There is high unemployment rate in the UK for the resident of the country but Trump Govt. have
made the strict rules for giving equal employment to the people who are born in UK.

The UK Govt. have revised their laws and strategies in order to establish a good foundation in
the country.

immigration occurs due to different reasons that an individual move from one place to another
and there is negative and positive impact on both the country and the aim of this report to
identify the impact of immigration on United Kingdom Economy. A great impact of immigration
is leads to better education workforce, innovation and good perfect match of skills and the jobs.
UK is the most powerful country and have good financial capabilities to meet the innovation and
development of society. It is the most preferred country for immigration by having good
industrialised power and offer various employment opportunities. This report is based on

documentation at the arrival of an individuals. It is the movement of individual to the destination
country with the motive of permanent citizenship. Various research suggest that migration is
beneficial for both the countries as low skilled migrants adversely effect the low skilled natives.
Immigration can be occurring with illegal sources and that will leads to create the associated of
criminal gang. There are various types of immigrants that includes Legal permanent residents are

those who is under the category of having green card that means having authorization to live and
work in the United State. Second is Conditional residents are those who got married for less than
2 years and they have to committee that both the people jointly file for the green card and last is
Non- Immigrants are those who live in the other country on temporary basis that includes
students, business person etc.
Causes of Migration
According to Sysoyev, Evstigneev and Evstigneeva (2019), There are various factors
which leads to migration of an individual from one place to another and this can be due
economical, social, political and environmental reasons to migration and some of the people
chose to move to build their career and some are forced to move due to war and other reasons.
There are push and pull factor that leads to movement of an individual from their one place to
another. Push factors are concern with the why people left the area and it may be lack of service,
safety, poverty, war, crop failure and high crime rate in the region. Pull factors are concerned
with the Higher employment, good climate, political stability, better services, more wealth and

less risk of natural hazards. Migration usually happens with the combination of push and pull
factors.

migrate there due to strong financial condition, powered with industrialization and high standard

questionnaires, mail questionnaires, scaling questionnaire and multiple choice
questionnaire that is use to collect the data in a short period of time.

Qualitative Technique: It is the method of gathering the data from the real prospective
of the individual and their ideas and opinions. This includes open-ended questions that results
best in interpreted by summarizing and concluding the research.
 One on-one interview- It is the most appropriate method of collecting qualitative data that
conduct personal interview within a set time frame. This method give the opportunities to
those people who are interested in the research(Charband and Navimipour, 2016).The
interviewer collect the personal information and perception of the individuals.
 Ethnographic research- This is the depth observational method that help in understanding
the target audience and also help in target person that is anywhere in the organisation.
 Observations- It is the methodology which is use to observe an individual and get the
valid information for the target audience and every research sue this method to get the
appropriate information for this report.
 Case study research- This is the method which is used by solving some examples and it is
used in various areas such as education and social science.
Data Collection
It is the systematic approach of collecting the data in an appropriate manner and data

time and money in procurement of data.

migration which include push and pull factors that help in understanding the reasons of
migration. Push include lower level income, crop failure, poverty, safety and high rate of crime

in the country that leads to movement of an individual from their native country to international
borders.
As high level of migration tends to increase the rate of inflation, culture conflicts and
shortage of education resources that will leads to reduce the productivity of the individual and
also impact the wages and employment. This will lead to tends the reduce the employment
opportunities for the people who are born in UK. The Trump Govt. have made the strict laws and
rules for the entry of migrants in the United Kingdom so that they can equally give the share in
their native country. They also made the visa mandatory to everyone who are planning to move
to UK. When the employees are not giving the fair salary to their potential employees, It will
leads to decrease the rate of employment in the country. The increase population tends to
increase the pollution in the country(Dikko, 2016). Due to various reasons which help in getting
the good employment in the economy and that will contribute in the GDP of the economy.
Various group are divided in to different group that helps in identifying the potential employees
who can increase the productivity of the country.
Evaluation of the relevance of sources
In this report, Secondary data is used as it is more accurate and easy to understand the
objective of research. In the time of pandemic, It is not easy to go and collect the data wit the
help of primary method of data collection so secondary data can be easily gathered with more
feasibility and accuracy because of their published sources will give useful information. This
research require facts and figures in order to collect the sourced data and using the secondary
data will help in getting the reliability of the information that helps in creating more impact on
research. Sources of secondary data is books, websites, e-journals to conclude the findings in a
better way. Studying both the prospective of the countries will help in getting the effective
conclusion. Having the secondary sources of data will be more useful and easy to do research in
an effective manner. This method of data collection is quite time consuming as there are many
sources of secondary data collection and research have to identify and analyse the effective one
in order to better conclude the objectives. It is financially ease to use than primary data that help
in meeting the objectivity of the report.

Reflection
It is analysed from the above findings that migration impact positively on the economy of
UK as it give new employment opportunities to new generation and also helps in making the
right use of various resources that will help in enhancement of the economy. The highly powered
economy of the country attract the people to shift there in order to live a better life. I felt that
there are various reasons that is leading to migration of the individuals. Push and pull are the
factors which leads to migration of people that includes higher services, good climate, political
stability and higher employment are under pull factors that attract the individual for migration
and crop failure, poverty, war and safety are the factors which comes under pull that leads the
individual to shift to other country. Migration contributes to the strong economy of the country
and also helps in increasing the GDP of the United Kingdom. I have analysed that poor skilled
migrants will leads to poor productivity of the country and vice versa. It is the hub of industries
and most develop country in the world.
