INTRODUCTION
Urban park is also known as municipal park or public park . It is a park in cities and located in
the incorporated places for offering recreation and green spaces for resident and visitors. The
maintenance, design and operations is done by various government agencies at the local level
that is contracted out of park conservancy.
Benefits: Urban parks are very essential for sustainability and liveable in towns and cities. It
includes various different components such as woodland, square plantings, street trees, green
roofs, private gardens, sports complexities and allotment gardens. It has a positive impact on
parks based on physical and mental health of people. It is based on role played by urban parks to
strengthen relations, social ties and cohesion. Urban parks are making economic contribution
towards having higher real estate prices, with leisure visits outside working environment for
promoting of well beings and health of visitors that is making higher contributions towards the
local economy.
Challenges: There are many challenges associated with urban parks that is mapping of green
spaces and measuring of culture and recreational activities. There is also lack of cost benefit
analysis tools that is sometimes difficult to value. Many times local authorities are having
opposition for development and maintenance of parks and green paces as it affects the space for
housing. Continued financial pressures are also affecting the overall quality of green spaces as itr
is important to draw funds across local authority budgets that can reflect better spreading of
benefits from investing in parks. It may also lead to future and present health benefits for people
across society.
Present report is based on making a analysis of the impact of the way urban parks is having
economic impact. Further, there is analysis of the consequence from environment perspective
and its impact from social perspective in context of Urban parks.

Pollution: there is negative impact on overall external environment as urban trees, shrubs, lawns
are affecting the surface temperatures in city. These elements are very important for the purpose
of improving the overall air quality of urban areas. It is very important for balancing of the urban
forest density specially in areas that are with low green space density and need both city wide

urban and local air quality. The main problem of pollutions is arsing because of heat and air
pollutions related health burdens that are arsing because of unequal distribution of green spaces
across urban neighbourhoods. Urban settings are experiencing higher temperatures as compared
to rural areas because of lack of vegetation properties of urban materials that posses greater
thermal storage capacity.
Pollution in cities is arsing because of the pollutants that includes chemicals , matters and other
firm of biological materials that is in form of solid particles, gases or liquid droplets.
Sustainability: Urban parks are providing large number of benefits from environmental
perspectives. There are many urban projects that are aimed at reducing the impact on overall
environment by changing the education & lifestyle of citizens by making them more responsible
for the external environment. There can be higher sustainable development by having higher
energy self sufficiency through timely integration of ecological agriculture, sustainable
exploitation and renewable energies. Green spaces in form of urban parks are acting as
protection centre for conservation of plants, water quality and soil. It is providing a very
important aspect for the purpose of maintain the ecological aspect of the sustainable urban
landscape with green ways, it is also used as a -plant species that is adapted as per local
conditions with self sufficiency, lower maintenance cost and higher sustainability aspect. In the
past research that have been made it can be said that urban biodiversity has become more
momentous because of the increasing impact of urbanisation that is done on the present urban
biodiversity. With the growing recognition of urban areas there is need of more innovative ways
for the purpose of promoting biodiversity and also conserving the present natural environment,
many researches have stated that urban parks are offering high level of habitat diversity and also
microhabitat heterogeneity that can be a important hotspot for biodiversity in the city spaces.
The impacts from a social perspective
Community development: Urban parks are very helpful in the process of social capital and
community cohesion. Local parks are providing a common space for individual to meet and
further encourage maintenance of existing social networks by offering of low cost and desirable
social activities it strengthening the bonding social capital. Community development is a very
important aspect of society for offering of intercultural interaction that can lead to enhancement

Urban Parks are build with money gained from Taxpayers, the amount of money required
to build Park in the locality differs form area to area. Another factor which decried the cost of
building the Park is the type of landscape which is to be constructed in the Park. In addition to
this design and features of an Urban Park decrease or increase the amount of investment required
to build and maintain an Urban Park. Urban Park which contain large amount of facilities such as
play ring require large amount of money from taxpayers for maintenance while parks with
simple landscape and low facilities require comparatively low funding for maintenance (Lee,
2020). In order to create ensure zero wastage of taxpayer money it is important that the Urban
Park generates employment and business opportunities in the area along with providing residents

parks are very important for the purpose of achievement of higher Urbanisation for
creation of better green spaces. It is very important for the purpose of higher quality of
life. Natural areas like urban parks are providing psychological and social services that is
of crucial significance for liability of modern cities and also for well being of urban
dwellers.
 Government and cities must come tiger for planing and managing the overall impact of
urbanisation. It can help in dealing with inequality, poverty, employment, climatic
changes, politics and aspects of employment services. It is very important for the purpose
of addressing such interconnected issues both from political and technical barriers of
change for the purpose of ensuring a good quality of life for millions in urban dwellers.
City governments and policy markers have to make plans with collaboration together and
working for better innovation opportunities. Urbanisation is always associated with rapid
challenges that have to be dealt in order to work towards development of people and
society together.
 Global movement is rise and is based on working towards a more sustainable world but at
