EDA remain at the head of technology and best practices. EDA is searching for the graduate
entrants to assist company in leading and attaining best practices.

 Capable of communicating effectively comprising verbally and writing with the
whole staff.
 Capable of planning, prioritising and organizing work to make sure pre-determined
deadlines are met.
 Good interpersonal skills with the capability of working in the multi-disciplined team
environment, engaging stakeholders and working co-operatively.
Response to selection criteria
Capable of communicating effectively comprising verbally and writing with the whole staff
a) Able to communicate effectively with the whole staff and can contribute to the important
decisions of the company. Capable of communicating concerning day to day working.
b) Focuses on listening as a part of verbal communication effectively. Prevent small issues from
turning into the huge ones by open lines of communication. I am having 1 year of experience
in designing projects as a trainee engineer.
c) I have even attained an award of best performance in the training session.
 Situation: During training at Aurecon, I assisted to the senior engineer handling designing of
the projects. It had important role in the project criteria and constraints. It even helped me in
the future assignments.
 Task: My task was to develop brainstorming ideas and communicate with the engineers for
the possible solutions.
 Action: The steps comprised applying design steps in the projects.
 Result: Communicating effectively with the senior engineers helped me to know all the pros
and cons of the possible solutions.

Capable of planning, prioritising and organizing work to make sure pre-determined deadlines are
met
a) To-do list at the beginning of each day and week. The task to be accomplished written as per
the urgency.
b) Review of workload on the regular basis. It helped in avoiding delays. It helped in
accomplishing work within the deadlines with the best quality. The allocation of specific time
helped in saving time.
c) The workload was structured and followed to avoid picking up a job, doing a bit and then
putting it back on the work.
 Situation: At Aurecon, a number of tasks were given simultaneously to pay undivided
attention. The multi tasks were handled once a task was dealt. Dealing tasks one by one
helped in managing tasks within the given deadlines.
 Task: The tasks were conducted as a part of team member to develop and detailed design to
ensure as a part of task. It involved public safety and required to be licensed. The designs
were drawn before initiating the project. The designs should be made in the defined time. The
deadlines were assigned to prepare designs within the time frame.
 Action: The workload was structured in the training session. One duty was dealt at a time and
used to finish before starting other one. The mind should be kept clear for the next task.
 Result: Planning, prioritising and organizing work helped me in being punctual and
accomplishing task before the deadlines. It gave me more sense of responsibility.

a) Good communication skills like organising and planning helped in getting tasks done. It even
helped in moving crucial things forward. It even proved as a strong system for managing
projects in a better way.
b) The ability to work within the disciplined team environment resulted in the better decisions.
It helped in consulting with the engineers of all levels.
c) The problem solving as a communication skill was effective in turning ideas into the practical
actions. It was helpful in making sure that the problem did not result as a change of direction.
 Situation: At Aurecon, the tasks were allocated in the whole team. The efficient interpersonal
skills helped me in communicating with the staff and attain the important information
required to complete the task.

 Task: The task was to prototyping; a model was created and reviewed by discussing with the
senior level engineers.
 Action: The prototyping was either functional or non-functional. Alpha was used for
functional whereas non-functional prototypes were used for form.
 Result: It helped me in identifying the required changes and corrections in the whole lifecycle
of the product.
