INTRODUCTION
Eduction is a practise which enables people to improve their self in many ways. With the
progress of time the purposes of education have been changed and now people are more likely to
go with these new changes in education. The report will be critically examining nature and
purpose of education Mayer, & Mills, (2021)
MAIN BODY
Education is the weapon which transforms a society. In Australia the education has
always been accentuated by the state so can make it fostering. But as I found that the present
scenario the education is quite different. I believe that education is supposed to bring
improvement to both individuals and society as a whole. They both are intended to get benefited
by the modern education.
On the other hands, it is serving the nation too. “Education and Training Reform act
2006, has reformed the Australian practise pertaining to education. Now it is compulsory for the
kids ranging between the age group of 6 to 17 to have institutionalized education Qayyum, &
Zawacki-Richter, (2018) They are obliged by the state so can open up ways of their individual
and societal development.
Since the year 2010, the regimes came up with new laws and made it necessary for all the
students to complete their 10 years were compelled to take full time education form the
educational institutions. It was for their personal and social development.
I have experienced throughout this course of action that in Australia the modern
educational system is fabricated in such manner so can serve both individual and societal
interests. For augmentation of individual growth the education is imparting different abilities. I
have seen that this is helping students to widen their thinking, understanding and reflecting
abilities.
But as I found, this educational system is still quite rigid and students are burdened by the
government by offering them hyper syllabus and busy schedule. They are now not much free
after completing their school and facing issues such as lack of time, less attention on sports etc.
Form my point of view the education is the only factor which brings drastic changes in a
person on its individual level. Boosting creativity, escalating its time management skills, making
a person innovative, surging its interest in research etc. These all things can be experienced there

in children if they are sent to school. This would be the sole notion that the government of
Australia is accentuating these students to attend schools Noonan, & Pilcher, (2018)
The fact can not be nullified that with the progress of time the nature of education is also
making great shifts. It is more likely to offer education pertaining to advance skills. They are
made enrolling to science, technology, computer, engineering etc. This new nature of education
is helping both individuals and society since with these subjects they may achieve bigger and
contribute to the nation is comprehensive manner.
I have observed that in the society our state is accentuating students to get driven towards
such new branches so a drastic and highly skilled constellation of think tank can be produced.
But on the other hands it is severely impacting ability of students to explore the areas of interest.
They are less likely to chose subjects of humanities since they are aware of the subjective
superiority which is ultimate aim for them.
In the nation around 4 million students who are enrolled in School as per the data of
2020. it shows that a great number of students are in schools. The state is timely delivering new
sets of laws. For instance- in the year 2013 the “Australian Education act 2013” was introduced.
The above view can also be supported by the notion that in the nation there are range of new
policies and rules, are fabricated by the government to augment the educational environment in
the nation Dadvand, (2020)
There are some factors which are changing the nature of education. For instance- the
world is moving toward efficiency and there is hyper need to have science and technology as
background subjects. It would be fair enough to articulate that the nature of education is highly
drastic and getting changed on regular interval.
I think, that if the education is well structured then will be helpful for a person to live a
good and better life. It makes a person ready to understand the prevailing dynamics and can
make strong decision. At the same time, without education it is not possible to revert sort of
creativity among people. So from the evaluation it would be fair enough that the educational
nature is helpful for both individual and society.
`The above discussion of mine, has presented deeper insights of the educational and what
was happening to it. At the same time, there is need to take some steps in order to make it more
comprehensive and substantial for the society and individuals. There are some changes
proposed. As Downing, Dyment, & Stone, (2019) articulated that education should not be driven

to bring better to only individual on its job or money making level but should bring
transformations in the society.
These shuffles which are made by the government would fetch some belligerent
outcomes. For instance- now the education is compulsory for all and it will result that people
would be inclined to send their kids to school. It would help state to eliminate illiteracy form the
nation to the fullest extent. As I observed that in the nation the rate of crime has been quite
higher. The reason was lack of education but this will change these predicaments.
On the other hands, there will be some negatives too, which can be experienced in the
upcoming time, the nature of education is moving to be professionalism where it is so often to
see people obliging their children to subscribe with trough subject irrespective of their area of
interest. Such types of things would create sort of perils in the society and would demoralize
students to explore the field they want.
Form my view points, it can be nurtured that enforcement of learning discipline would
helpful for the society to have an educated generation. The nation is a big admirer of social
justice and in absence of education to all, it can never be achieved so with this respect, this
nature or effort of government to improve educational environment is comprehensively suitable.
I have personally observed on many occasions that there is great decline in science and
maths talent in the nation, educational system is becoming monolingual, migrant students are
working with higher standards which is hiking internal competition in the nation, the standards
of world education are also going up.
Keeping these all issues into consideration it would be fair enough to depict that the
changing nature of education and the way it is prone to be double purpose practise, will benefit
the nation and society in range of manners. The people of nation would be more competent and
number of social issues such as racism, gender discrimination, lack of global talent production
etc. can be handled.
The development of a good society and surging the life measures of people is solely
possible with dynamic type of education and what I observed thought the course of action is that
the educational system would be lucrative in many ways.
CONCLUSION
Form the report above, it can be summarized that the education is a very much dynamic
factor in any society. In this report it had been evaluated that how with the progress of time, the
