INTRODUCTION
In the present era, every individual requires an impressive growth and development in
their personality. In order to improve individual professionalism it is very important to enhance
their knowledge, ability, skill and capability (Bass, Fenwick and Sidebotham, 2017). Self
learning is one of the aspect by which anyone can gain the new knowledge and ability about the
subject (Shorten and Ruppel, 2017). In the following assignment, a deep knowledge and
understanding about the learning activity of an individual. This report is based on the individual
reflection under which they defined their knowledge, understanding, skill and experience about
the aspects.
MAIN BODY
1 Distinction between learning in the school environment and higher education
Learning is an activity for acquiring new and modifying existing knowledge, skill, value
and ability about the subject. It is the best act by which anyone can improve their personality and
professionalism (Sethares and Asselin, 2017). Being a student in the collage, I have experience
in the education field. I have analysed that there are major difference between the higher
education and school. In the school level I have learnt about the discipline and punctuality. In the
school level, my tutor and teachers always control me in the study field. By this aspect, my time
management skill has been also improved as I have accomplished my task within a period. I have
used library for getting the books and study material about my subjects. In the school there are
various kinds of the activators and program organised by the teacher thus I have learnt various
kinds of the skills like communication, coordination, time management etc. On the other hand in
the higher education level, I have attended various seminar, workshops and conference about the
personality development. In the higher education, knowledge and personality can easily improve
as compare to the school level because in the higher education I have so many opportunities to
improve myself. The major difference between the higher education and school level is self
managed learning. In the school I have depended on the other teacher and tutor but in the higher
education I have collected information about the subject by my own basis and learnt it for future
competition exam. In the higher education, I have also opportunity to become independent as I
have started self learning about the topic. Furthermore, at the time of higher education, I have
also developed a team under which I have worked with the another team member. By this task, I
have improved my communication, coordination, time management, analytical skill through

which I have improved personality and professionalism. Following are my worksheet about the

2 Engagement with critical reading and thinking
I have also attained the knowledge in respect to engagement and critical reading. It has
facilitated me to advance my interpersonal skills so that better development can be taken into
account. In this, I have focused on preparation of worksheets so that better accomplishment can
be taken into account. For continuous improvement in skills the cases of Lidl and Aldi are also
being referred by me. With an effective application of such values the overall issues can be
understand properly for sustainable opportunities. I have designed some activities in order to
ensure that long term development of skills is being accomplished. I have also noticed during the
learning process that critical reading and thinking allows to perform activities in critical manner.
It helps in learning how thinking can be developed regarding challenging subject so that better
outcome can be attained. Through reading I have gained the information about diverse factors
that can advance the work engagement at workplace.

3 The ability to collect, locate, record effective information using a range of academic resources
Appropriate information and data plays a very crucial role in the process of self learning and
improvement. With help of effective data collection, individual can obtain an appropriate
solution of the issue (Grant, McKimm and Murphy, 2017). Being an employee in the
Volkswagen company , I have various roles and responsibility to ward the company. Cited
venture have major objective is to deliver an impressive product and services to the customer.
For this objective I have to collect the information about the customer taste and preferences for
the auto mobile. In the Volkswagen ,i haver developed a team of the 15 member which have to
collect the information about the customer satisfaction. For gather information I have organised
the survey of customers who have regular purchased the product from my organisation. In this
survey I have prepared questionnaire along with the question related to the customer satisfaction
about auto mobile. By conducting survey, I have able to collect primary data about the customer
satisfaction. With assistance of this I have analysed the taste, preferences, choice of the
customer. For conducting survey and gather information I have developed the team of 15
members under which I have learnt various skills like time management, coordination,
communication, analytical, interaction etc. In the team work, I have allotted individual task to
each team member for collecting the information. While effectively information has been
collected then in the next phase I have conduct team meeting for analyse and interpret the result
of the investigation.

Once the primary data has been collected in the survey then I have also gathered the information
from the secondary sources like books, journals, articles, online website etc. The secondary
source is also more reliable for conclude result (Rolfe, 2017). With assistance of secondary
information I have gathered the information about the customer purchasing behaviours and
factors which affect their choice and perception. Thus, it can be said that for the Volkswagen
team task I have collected both primary and secondary sources by which I have effective collect
and record appropriate information about the customer.
4 & 5 Evaluation of the reliability of information
As per the above discussion it has been ascertained that in order to collect the reliable and valid
information I have conducted the group task under which I worked with team member. I have
effectively collect the information from the Survey and secondary sources such as books,
journal, articles online websites etc. Thus I can say that these informations is more reliable and
valid which assist me in obtain an appropriate solution of the research. While I have prepared the
questionnaire them my writing skill has been improved. While I have conducted survey then my
communication and interaction skill has increased.
6 Self reflection
From the data collection, my interaction and communication skill has been improved as I
have interacted with many customers. In addition to this by worked in the team my coordination,
supportive skill has been also improved. In addition to this while I have concluded the result and
outcome then my analytical and decision making skill has been also increased. This
improvement can help me in the improving my personality and professionalisms.

CONCLUSION
From this assignment it has been concluded that by attending seminar, workshop, team
work individual can improve their personality and professional. It has been also concluded that
there are major difference between higher education and school level as individual can various
opportunities in the higher education.
