1DIFFERENCES BETWEEN EDUCATION AND EMPLOYMENT
Introduction
Education reflects the procedure in simplifying, acquiring and learning skills, values,
knowledge and habits. Employment can be defined as the connection between two different
parties that bases their relation and responsibility on contract, where the contract involves
payment, information of parties and data on tenure. The purpose of the paper is to compare
and contrast the two areas of sustaining individuality, employment and education. The paper
will also present a few links to reflect the interconnection between the two fields and the
aspects in which they differ.
Body
Link:
The two areas are usually believed to be interconnected due to the belief that
educational preparations and courses lead to employability, where one can utilise the
acquired knowledge from education to perform the assigned responsibilities. Educational
programs also have a substantial influence on prospective employment opportunities.
Production and Obedience:
Education and employment differ concerning productivity and obedience. The priority
of a school is focussed more on obedience. In school, students are expected to comply by set
rules and standards that have little to no room for alterations in regards to individual
differences as the students’ performance majorly depends on the adherence to the norms (Ary
et al., 2018). On the other hand, in the workplace, the main goal is productivity. The
workplace demonstrates the system of backward integration as the majority of the policies is
dependent on the goal of productivity. In the workplace, the rules are directed towards the
priority of accomplishing maximum productivity. The payment and performance rating is
determined through the results of productivity whereas, in education, the result depends on
obedience.

2DIFFERENCES BETWEEN EDUCATION AND EMPLOYMENT
Individuals and age-based tribe:
The classes and sessions in an educational system are usually composed of similar age
group, which are known as peer groups. Moreover, the rate of diversity in the educational
system or programs is far lesser than in employment groups. Employment forms connection
through the term of colleagues. Employment opportunities help in witnessing a varying range
of ages and diversity contributing to performance excellence. Education restricts the social
interaction whereas employment opportunities increase the diversity and fluidity in social
interactions (Keynes, 2018).
Discovery and known data:
Education allows individuals to learn about various data and information that are
already existent in scholarly sources and an established process or model. The system of
education change based on the set curriculum, regional preferences and edition of scholarly
sources. On the other hand, employment can be treated as an area of discovery that
incorporates changes and innovation at every step of performance and engagement.
Although, employment faces a fixed culture but is subjected to a high rate of disruption for
accomplishing the ideal level of success (Frey & Osborne, 2017).
Dependability and uncertainty:
Education involves a fixed structure and system that acts as a guideline for the
participants, whereas employment presents individuals with a high rate of uncertainty in both
short-term and long-term responsibilities. Employment mostly depends on education
whereas; education does not depend on employment.
Conclusion
Therefore it can be concluded from the paper that, education and employment may be
interlinked but has several differences, which differentiates the nature and practices of the
two areas, where both contribute to the moulding of individual and group traits.
