Education is not only achieving the knowledge but it is the action to implement that
knowledge to shape the society and the nation. Education is something that makes the man a
better human being but showing how to nurture themselves throughout the life with ethics and
values (Baker, 2020). Education is a great medium to make the world a better place with
progress and development. Society is the sum of people that we are surrounded by from our
paternal existence to the instant of a dying. Society is full of human being that provides us
experiences that help us in growing better. Society and education is always interlinked with each
other they cannot be separated as education act as a catalyst in shaping the thoughts of the
humans with this society. Hence the essay will discuss the influence of education on society and
how it contributes in shaping the society with some examples.
MAIN BODY
Education has a positive influence on the society and on life’s of people living in the society. The
below mentioned examples will outline that the education has contributed to the changes in the
society:
Education has lead to sustainable development of the society
Education is the most powerful driving tool in the advancement of the society towards a
sustainable development as it is the strongest driving force towards the increment of employment
in this society which is diminishing the poverty and improving the well being and better
standards of living for the citizens of the society (Cebrián, Junyent and Mulà, 2020). Education
empowers the people to be more productive and procure the standards of living to enjoy a better
living and thereby also increasing the economic growth of the nation. Creating more employment
in the society through small businesses and entrepreneurship is the most important change in the
society which is reflected by the education in the people. This is also breaking the poverty cycle
of the society and nation and thereby the sustainable growth and development of the society.
People in the society who were born in the poor families has educated themselves and turned
their lives into well established educated and rich families of the society which grows the
economy of the country. Hence education is the human right as well as important aspect in
changing the shape of the youth and also to progress the sustainable development for future
generation (Cardoso, 2020).

Education leads to democratic society- Education is one of the main reason for change
in society. It leads to change mindset of society. Education plays a very important role in leading
democratic society. An uneducated person is unaware about their rights and other legal laws to
live in society. On the other hand an educated person know their all legal rights and knows that
what should be done after get cheated by any company or person. This is the difference which
shows that educations aware people and help them to become democratic. An educated
individual does not require anyone’s help in surviving this world (Taysum, and Ayanlaja, 2020).
Educated individual easily identify what’s going wrong and what’s right in a surroundings.
Hence, education teaches how to stand for our self and what should be done in different kind of
situations. Education provides practical knowledge. Uneducated person agrees on whatever
another person told them. They get easily influenced by others without identifying the outcomes.
Whereas, on the other hand an educated person knows well that what is the motive of another
person for influencing them. Educated person can easily analyse outcomes of the situations.
They can ask to provide their rights, they can complaint in case of any fraud, and they can handle
things and situations by their own. This is how education plays a very important role in leading
society democratic. Education teaches that how an individual can live independently without
depending upon others for help.
Education empowers the women of society- Another example of education importance in
society change is that it empowers the women of society. With the help of educations women
gets dependent and their mindset changes. Before some decades when education is given to only
male member of society, at that time the condition of women are critically bad (Ünal and
Kaygın, 2020). They are supposed to get married at early age and they are not supposed to raise
their voice for their own betterment. Year by year when time passes women get involve in
having educational service by teachers. With the help of education women get to know about
their rights in society. They identify opportunities for earning. Education helps them to find job
by learning some professional skills. After getting jobs women have their own money and have
the source of earning. Now they are not supposed to depend on their family members of their
male partners to achieve something. Education taught them to speak for them self, to understand
what’s right and what’s wrong around them and speak against wrong things. Education help
women to represent them self in front of society and establish their own reputation in society. An
educated woman knows that agreeing upon anyone’s thought without checking that the facts are

It is concluded from the above report that the education has helped the society in becoming a
better place to live. There are many examples in the society which have concluded that that

changes in the society. Among the various examples the education has made the society
democratic where people are free to choice their government. The education has great role in
empowering the women’s and also in supporting the rights of minority class of society.
Therefore it is concluded that education has changed the society and lead to sustainable and
ethical development.
