Reflection on Skills Development: An Educational Artefact Essay

This essay presents a student's reflection on their skills improvement journey, utilizing an educational artefact (a poster) as a focal point. The primary goals are to enhance ICT and research skills by 80%, develop new academic competencies, and improve overall university performance. The student employs the Gibbs reflective model to analyze strengths, identify weaknesses, and formulate action plans. Key strategies include seeking feedback from supervisors, participating in training sessions, and leveraging online resources. The reflection highlights the development of communication, decision-making, and multitasking skills while addressing challenges in ICT, presentation, research, and academic writing. Ultimately, the essay concludes that continuous effort, resource utilization, and skill development are essential for academic and career success.

EDUCATIONAL ARTEFACT USED FOR REFLECTION(POSTER)
There are several forms of approaches, methods and
techniques available in the world that individual person
utilized to conduct reflection as personal analysis. Like
others, I also take approach to conduct the same activity by
considering and applying Gibbs reflective model as the best
strategic framework. With this model I had taken initiative
to specify my strengths, determine weaknesses, identify
opportunities that I will utilize to overcome threats.
With this help of chosen concept, I had taken effort to
describe more information about myself.
I want to describe my personal experience that has been
drawn from development of my academic competencies,
since I started university. I want to say that I had decisions
making and communication skills.

I felt really happy because of having set of skills, while, I
am also very nervous, due to not posing great knowledge
about multiple academic skills, that I want to develop and
use in further. I do not have better understanding about ICT,
multi-tasking, presentation, research and academic writing
With communication skill I had taken approach to ask few
essential questions with my tutors who are able to respond
quickly and in comprehensive manner. Furthermore, by using
decision-making skill I also feel confident because it
provided me chance to take right action regarding any
situation, whether it is related to information source selection.
Just because of my weaknesses, I am feeling nervous.
It has been concluded from overall scenario, that while
starting my education in a university, I had taken effort to
obtain high score, which is not possible for each student to
do that. As it needed a lot of attempts, resources and other
things, that play significant role in career progress of
individuals. I had analysed communication & decision-
making skills as my strengths that I had and utilize the same
in appropriate manner.

I aim to improve my ICT skills and research skills specifically by 80 percent, for extending new academic competencies and generate rapid improvement diversely for wider improved
experience among subjects. Specifically I also aim to introduce best synergies and expertise, for all academic skills as it will enable me to excel in university experience and among varied
subjects. ICT, presentation and analytical skills diversely will improvise my overall performance benchmarks and generate new ideas diversely. I will measure my goals, by developing best
benchmarks and strengthen creative aspects for determined working efficacy based on targets. To analyse my ICT and research skills worked on, I will further aim to critically improvise new
ideas and generate feedbacks from supervisors for authentic competent synergies diversely.
