How did you ensure that your project followed BERA ethical guidelines?
I made sure to recognize and realize the importance of the diversity and different
approaches used in the research and I have respect all those people who were attached with it all
the academics, participants, professional practitioners, bodies of commission are the people who
I have respected as they are also the people who utilize the research. They have always looked
out for the best talent in the community and will keep on doing it in future. (Reynolds and Vince,
2017)
Main Findings from small scale research project?
I was able to find out different approaches and their strength and weakness. I was short
on time and I didn't have much resources but I used methods to conduct this research was
pragmatic. I made sure that my research make sense to the reader. While conducting the research
I got to know that methods of research will not be enough to pursue this research I had to put
more efforts in this.
What might you do differently next time?
I will try to make sure that I use the resources optimally so that I can extract more and
more information from them and I won't waste time as small scale research doesn't allow me to.
Above this I will make plans before going to look for information as it will save time and I can
use that time on correction and rectifying the errors so that my report would have minimum
errors as possible. (Winnicott, 2018.)
What did you learn about educational research?
I learned that it is an analysis so that data can be collected and it can be used in any field
of education. I learned that there are various methods involved while conducting a research and
they are student learning, teacher training, dynamics of classroom and more different methods of
teaching. Apart from this I followed every ethics and didn't commit nay false measures to
complete the research.
What knowledge and skills did you develop?
I never valued time but now I value even a second of it as small scale research has taught
me to complete the work on time and it has developed my time management skills. Apart from
this I developed a skill that never to copy something from the existing research even if I was not

able to found the data because if I copy then it would make the wrong impression in front of the
audience.
What knowledge and skills have you identified as important for future research activity? What
targets have you set for yourself?
In future while conducting the research I will be prepared for it as I will seek guidance from the
teacher which I avoided last time. I will make my communication skills put to a better use in
future as I saw the last time that the more you communicate with others more you are able to find
out and extract the correct information and it will also help me to work without making faulty
errors. (Cottrell, 2017.)
