INTRODUCTION
Education plays an essential role in every single individuals life. In modern era,
education system gets changes on a regular basis which may aid both children and adults in
learning about new things (Birley and Moreland, 2014). Therefore, it is must for human beings to
select a proper educational system, university or school for their children so that they can raise
living standards, attitude and knowledge in an appropriate manner. Erikson's Psychosocial
Developmental Theory and Piaget's Cognitive Developmental Theory has been included under
this assignment for better understanding.
MAIN BODY
Brian of human beings stays in a developing stage till the age of 18 and stays much active
rather than of an adult's brain. Therefore, effective learning can be done at the age in between.
That is why government of United Kingdom has made educational system where citizens sends
their children to consumers and keeps on making alterations in it so that better learning can be
given to kids and teenagers. When a child comes at the age of 4 his/her brain stays active in
double of an adult. If a child learns about anything like an instrumentals it is may be possible that
it will stay in his her mind for a longer period of time or may be for life time (Bryman, 2015).
In this context, there are various theories that are being proposed by talented authors
which can be used in order to develop minds of children so that they can get educated right on
time. Both practical and theoretical learning is must for children therefore, Government of
United Kingdom has made various policies which is being followed by all the educational
centres so that to deliver better services to students that are coming to these places to learn
something. Under this, some of theories like Erikson's Psychosocial Developmental Theory,
Piaget's Cognitive Developmental Theory are being considered as the most effective ones that
may aid in understanding the need of development of human brain at a little age. Apart from this,
it is being stated by many authors that learning can be done at any age and it is continuous
process. Some of other philosophers have supported this statement and some does not. But
according to the time being it is being analysed that a person can learn about new things in much
faster way than being as in the age of an adult.
Erikson's Psychosocial Developmental Theory was being counselled by Erik Erikson, in
which he gave that an individual goes through eight stages where learning is being done
throughout his/her own life (Theories of Development. 2017). Majorly, he have focused on social

interaction and personal experience are two major elements through which a child can learn in
much faster way. Learning through this process stays in mind for a longer period of time (Derntl,
2014).
According to this theory, eight different stages are: Infant, Toddler, Pre-schooler, School
age, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Age, Older adult where an individual goes through
different factors that are related to mistrust, guilt, confusion, despair and so on. Education system
gives ability to learn new things. But some others have brought up their view in front of society
that if a kid is filled with some sort of diseases or lack of interest is their it may be possible that
and do not give guarantee of proper learning right on time when it is needed. Age from 1 to 18 is
totally filled with hormonal changes which develops the interest among children or teenagers of
many things. Here, education can help locating their own curiosity that they have and try to work
on them so that skills and knowledge children can get enhanced.

It is being examined that if a child do get to know about his/her own capabilities in
between this age limit becomes successful than others in much effective and efficient manner.
Apart from this, it is being mentioned as that children cannot handle the pressure that an adult
can do. Therefore, educational system is much related to a human life cycle that they follows.
Parents educate their children through various ways like eating style, how to behave with others
and to stay secure and them after this stage. They start learning about various things according to
their interest where study is being done in both schools and university. If they get good
knowledge and select a reputed college then it is may be possible that big firms will hire him/her
measuring his/her qualification and knowledge that they already have.
Piaget's Cognitive Developmental Theory was propounded by Jean Piaget in which he
mentioned about development of thought processes and mental states. It was being introduced as
to understand about cognitive features of an individual. Children's intellectual development can
be done in a sequence which is filled with four different stages: Sensorimotor Stage, Pre-
operational Stage, Concrete Operational Stage, Formal Operational Stage which shows human
learning from its infant age to old one (McNiff, 2014). Here, knowledge is being gained by
children through learning about new things in various educational centres and it can also be done
through two ways and these are: Practical and theoretical which should be kept in mind by tutors
of teenagers. In modern era, education can be given through various ways, through verbal or in
informal ways as well. YouTube is one kind of app which is being used by kids if their parent
allow them to get knowledge from various sources. But, internet is also filled with many bad or
sexual content sites that can affect on mind of teenagers and can pull interest of them towards it.
Therefore, it must for parents to keep on looking into these areas so that better learning can be
done and adopt best suitable educational system (Van Manen, 2016).
CONCLUSION
At the end of this report, it is being concluded that learning is a continuous process and a
person can get educate at any age in which he/she is. Interest and aptitude of kids plays an
important role which should be kept proper control and in consideration so that to get good
education right on time. Healthy life can be lived personality can be improved by an individual If
proper learning is being done in the age of 18.
