Personal statement: I always have a curiosity about electric gadgets that how these works. I like
to solve practical problems associated with field of electric engineering. I am interested in course
of electric engineering because this field is quite exciting and can be useful into real life in order
to know electronic items mechanism. Additionally, I personally believe that electric engineering
can provide me deep information about each and every aspect related to functionality of
advanced machinery. This information can help me to develop new electronic items which can
be created because of my skills.
In order to complete my degree in the stream of electric engineering I would like to join XYZ
college. The rationale behind is that this college has a great atmosphere for those students who
want to continue their career in engineering. Along with, the college has higher goodwill in
educational sector of United Kingdom due to their highly skilled staff members and advanced
techniques of learning. Each faculty has higher experience which shows the quality of education
provided inside. This college has higher record of providing placement to engineering students in
each year. In addition, studying in this college can be life-changing for me with new experience
and wider environment of engineering. The college is specially designed for engineering courses
which also a key reason of selecting this college for my engineering. Though, placement is not
my target because I want to get knowledge about each aspect of electric engineering.
During my past academic career I selected science stream in physics only because of my interest
electrical engineering. The physics and chemistry were one of my favorite subjects in which I
scored well in each year. In addition to this, I developed certain electric projects during my
school and one of the effective project was “Generating electricity from solar”. This project was
appreciated by my teachers and classmates because of its size and units produced per day of
electricity. Apart from it, I was active in each and every activity related to electric engineering
concepts. In my free time I use to play cricket because this provides learning of teamwork as
well as I like to play guitar in which I got 2nd grade during a competition. I want to keep myself
active in each field of environment because I believe that this is crucial for an engineer to have
knowledge about social, political and economic concepts.
