Introduction
The “Enterprise Environment Factors (EEF)” is the backbone of a project that
determines the success of a company by including both internal and external factors (Pounder,
2017). There may be some proviso of course which are beyond control that includes factors such
as culture, regulations of the government, market situations, weather conditions as well as
political circumstances. This is crucial to get success and identify the factors for analysis of the
subject factors. Impact of the internal and external points and diverse strategies are considered to
be suitable for the success of the project. The following report critically analyses the external as
well as the internal factors of the project management processes and disparate the influence of
these elements on the project management process as well. The report further goes on to evaluate
the different strategies that can be developed to take appropriate actions for the course. Lastly,
the paper discusses the pertinent communication for the processes and analyses the consequences
of the stakeholders.
Impact of Internal and external factors on project management processes
The EEF has constantly been pursued in the written form however; it is difficult to have
control over EEF as it is always in action. The project management process always gets
manipulated by EEF and it never alters what is written in EEF. However, one exception that can
be highlighted is that the development as well as the managing of the project team is done by
addition of the additional skills that are created so that the organisation can use it in the future.
To manage the project and to create the skills are the motto of this organisation. Significant
effect is reflected while getting the success in any possible way. Junior level team which possess
less skills are not assigned to complete the job. It is entirely dependent on the senior level
officers services of which are entirely needed for development of the project management. The

inputs of the EEF displayed as the inputs to various processes in the project management (Chen
et al., 2014). Such inputs are vital for the survival of the organisation as the success of the project
depends upon these input processes. The environmental factors that are mentioned in the
PMBOK Guide are provided in the examples that are discussed further.
The Government regulations include the regulatory standards as well as regulations. For
example, the doctors can have license for practicing medicine on the human body as well pet
animals (veterinary doctors). This also includes various quality practices such as the Internal
Standards Organisations Standards (ISOS) products. The market conditions is another external
factor of EEF. Demand and supply theory may be appropriate here including financial as well as
economic factors (Liao et al., 2015). The theory says that when demand increases the price of the
commodity decreases and vice versa. The next external factor of EEF is the infrastructure.
Equipment and capital are the main components of this aspect. Information and technology must
be taken into consideration as well. The last external factor of EEF is the external political
condition. Both the internal and the external political influences are considered in this factor.
These two factors randomly influence on the project and organizations.
The internal factors are equally important in developing the project management process
as the external factors mentioned above. The first factor of internal EEF is the organisational
culture. The organisational culture is important in influencing the structure and the processes
involved in controlling the project management (Li et al., 2017). With various processes and
structures influencing and controlling this project, it can be said that the culture of the
organisation is extremely important internal factor of the company. The second internal factor
that influences EEF is the human resources. This denotes the various skills and knowledge
possessed by the staff and expresses their expertise in their concerned areas. The third internal

factor of EEF is personnel administration. This is very important aspect of the organisation as
this manages the entire administration including hiring the staff, training them befittingly,
reviewing their performance and even terminating them in the interest of the organisation (Fa,
2017). The last important internal factor of EEF is the working authorization system of the
organisation. This factor defines the way in which the activities of the project should be
authorized.
Both the external and the internal factors put an impact on the way people manage the
process of the project. However, the process also includes the outcome of the project, for
example, when the tasks are assigned to the team members who do not possess the required skills
to perform the task, and then the leaders or the supervisors of the organisations have to take the
lead and pave the way for others to follow (Ibrahim & Mas’ud, 2016). Moreover, the leaders
have to consider the impact of the results and the project management.
Development of strategies to implement action
The SWOT analysis
The above analysis is needed to work out the effect of the project of any companies.
Determination of the weakness and the strengths of the stakeholders are included in this process.

also be analysed to resolve the issues of the industry.
Environment Analysis
This is a strategic management and the societal surroundings of the industry. Government
and the local bodies and employees are considered to be the main components of this analysis. In
addition to the government, the local competitors, the suppliers, the employees and the various
other specific groups are include in the analysis (Smith, 2013). Forces like these stakeholders are
influencing operations not only in the short run but also in the long run. These forces directly and
indirectly affect the organisation. It includes the capita and other infrastructural copes (Shuangyi,
Yanan & Jinsong, 2015). Infrastructures are the main pillar to materialize this programme. Any
opportunities may not be left out in solving the challenging assignment. The managers need to
assess the business and destinations of the business.
The Planning Direction
Planning is the foremost important aspect of establishing any business because it gives a
sense of direction of the vision and the mission of the organisation. To achieve the mission and

2013).

The methods of managing the varying project communications comprise of various
methods. Firstly, the process of project managements implies various effects and strategies of
stakeholders (Burke, 2013). Secondly, identification of stakeholders includes the determination
of stakeholders influencing the effect on projects and engaging the detailing of project effects,
awareness levels and power. Thirdly, the plan communications include communications of
stakeholders. Registers for them are mandatory. Besides, strategy register is required for
effecting planning. To develop the strategy management strategy is also looked into to formulate
the desired result. Fourthly, distributing of information includes communications
implementations for stakeholders. Efficient execution of the entire management plan also
determines the good strategy for communication. Fifthly, managing stakeholder expectations
includes various methods, skills i.e. interpersonal and managing skills are the main components
under this category. Stakeholders must be ensured that their interest for keeping them informed
are not interfered. Frequent arrangement of meeting for stakeholders and reposing trusts on them
regarding different activities of companies’ for development and formulating better planning to
take the organisations to a different level is necessary (Rose, 2013). At no point of time, the
stakeholders should feel the negative impact in terms of their share in the company. Lastly, the
report performance involves reporting methods. Forecasting the performance, its progress and
information, which are to be communicated to the Board members is mandatory for a better
management strategy. Their process of techniques of forecasting and analysis after deducing the
different tools are the main aspect in the entire processing system.

Thus, the present report gives a thorough analysis of the external and internal impacts
that affect an organisation. The EEF affects how an organisation performs in different
circumstances. Further, the economic and the corporate culture are involved in the project
management process that should also be taken into account.
Reflection
The report presented the important external and internal aspects that are required in the
development of the project management processes as well as the impacts of these factors on the
project management process. From these factors, I learned that analysing the internal factors is as
important as the external factor that makes a company progress in the future. The EEF is the
most important factor of any organisation that establishes and paves the way for success of the
company. The organisation can work only when the leadership qualities of the organisation are
appropriate that can handle any situation. It is the most important key for the success of any
organisation. I learned that the best tools to identify the EEF is doing the SWOT and the
PESTEL analysis. The anti-trust laws and the anti-discriminatory laws can be analysed through
the SWOT analysis awhile the internal factors such as the leadership qualities and corruption
within the organisation can be analysed through PESTEL analysis. I also learned that managing a
project in a well-organised manner is extremely important for the completion of any project in
the organisation. Project management includes all the initiating, planning, executing, controlling,
and controlling the project. The company should carry out the following methods of the EEF that
includes all the internal and external factors that can identify the weaknesses and the strengths of
the project. They should plan their vision, set a goal and work accordingly to achieve their goals
in the future. Planning is the foremost important aspect of establishing any business because it
