INTRODUCTION
The business communication is sharing of information between people outside and inside an
organization which is performed for benefit of commercial of an organization (Wenig, and
Knudsen, 2015). The communication involves exchange of mutual understanding. Also, it is the
basic function of management of business. The report will be segregated into four different
skills. They are mainly self management, communications, team work and problem solving
skills. The self management skills will include ability to plan and organize in order to meet
conflicting deadlines. It will also include ability to work in fast paced environment. The
communication skill will highlight communication ability of verbal and written skills will be
elaborated. Also, interpretation ability and technical content into appropriate language for
different audience will be discussed. High level communication skills will also be covered in the
report. In the skill of team work ability to work cooperatively as team member and capacity for
building strong relationships will be cover. The report will also lay emphasis on ability to liaise
confidently, communicate and influence a range of stakeholders. Problem solving skill in this
report will include liaise and seek relevant facts with various stakeholders. Also, the report will
lay focus to analyze issues from different perspectives and inferences from data which is

STAR MODEL11 SELF MANAGEMENT: Situation: How to organise and plan to meet conflicting deadlines. Employees of the
organization are facing problem to accomplish the task in the fast changing environment. Task: Task to be completed on time which adds value to the business. Management and
employees of the organization has to accomplish the task with fast changing priorities
and environment. They need to effectively prioritize their work by effectively
communicating the task to each employee which helps organization to accomplish the
task on the timely manner (Bovée, Thill and Raina, 2016). The employees of the
organization must focus on understanding internal and external environmental factors
with the help of general observation. Action: Management and staff of the organization must effectively plan and

is to effectively transmit information from one person to the another in an organizational
structure. The information must be effectively communicated using various sources of
