If there is a good communication between company and customer then company can understand
customer demands and needs and after knowing that they can produce product as customer needs
but if there is not a good relation between company and customer then company will never
understand customer needs and demand which can be seriously impact on business growth.
There have some skills that are required for make the communication effective. Without
effective communication it is not possible to achieved companies goals and objective (Gaut,
2002). But there have some barriers on effective communication that makes whole
communication poor and unstable. But if we remove those barriers through our communication
skills then we will be able to do a successful communication.
That’s all I learned from module and presentation about good business communication.
Elements of the presentation that were particularly successful and
reason behind it
There have a couple of elements of my presentation that were particularly successful such as
importance of effective communication, solution of communication barriers and communication
skills. Here I describe the cause behind it
Effective communication is play a vital role on each and every business. In my presentation I
show that without effective communication it’s not possible to achieve company’s targeted goals
and objectives. It encourage staffs to work and give them motivation to work (Griffin, 2005).
Through this company can increase their growth and can make a great effect on revenue. So I
show most of the importance thing of effective communication that’s why I think it is the
successful elements of my presentation. Other two elements is solution of communication
behaviour and communication skill, we know that communication barriers negatively effect on
business so its need to remove and In solution of communication behaviour I have shown the
way of removing communication barriers that’s why it’s also a successful elements of this
presentation. The last on is communication skill and it is also a successful elements of this
presentation cause for doing an effective communication we need some skill such as active
listening, friendliness and confidence, with this skill we can easily communicate with others
people which is needed for business that’s why this is also a successful elements of my
presentation.

How I can improve my presentation and what can I do to improve the
presentation
Improving presentation is important for me because it will be helpful for developing my skills. In
my presentation there have some lacking and if I want to reduce those lacking then, I have to be
include more elements on my presentation. Mostly I use secondary sources data for conducted
my presentation which is not so bad but if I can collect all information and data from primary
sources then it will be helpful for improvement of my presentation. In my whole presentation I
just discuss about three theories, but if I use more theory there then my presentation would be
more improved because theory is most important part of this presentation as well as for business
communication. Communication skill is important for effective communication but on my whole
presentation I just shown three communication skill which is not enough to describe
communication skill so I will include more communication skill to improve my presentation. If I
can communicate with my other classmate then I will be get some suggestion from them and can
improve my presentation.
Here are some point that I will be do to improve my presentation
First of all I will be use all data and information from primary source, then I will be include more
business communication theories such as mutual group theory, agent setting theory and
uncertainly reduction theory (Bayless, 2005). I will be include more business communication
skills such as networking skill, active listening skill and oral communication. And at last I want
to add more solutions of communication barriers which will be more helpful for doing an
effective communication and improved my presentation.
I think after doing all of this my presentation will be improved.

Effective business communication is the central point of this report. For conducting this report I
learned lot of things about business communication where the main point was that, without

objectives and I am agree with this statement because effective business communication is must
needed for each and every company. Effective business communication build and create a
working environment in a business and it promotes understanding between the employees and
staffs. I think from using some business communication theory we can get some knowledge
about this but the most important think is communication skill, without this we can’t remove
communication barriers and without removing communication barriers we will be unable do a
successful effective communication (Dixon, 2006). So I think business communication is a one
of the most important part of a business and for doing a successful effective communication we
need to achieve communication skills. There have some process of communication which is also
important part of this. Business communication help me to improve my communication skill and
from this communication I acquire some communication skill which will be help me in future to
remove communication barriers. And when I can remove communication barriers then I can also
able to do an effective communication. After writing this whole report it will positively impact
on developing my writing skill.
Conclusion
Effective business communication is required for each and every company. It can increase the
business volume and improved the relationship between customer and company and employees
to staff (Oxlade, 1996). But there have some barriers in this communication process which can
be removed by some way. In this report I shows that what I learned from good business
communication module and also from the presentation. On my presentation there were some
successful elements and in this report I indicate those elements and discuss the reason behind
their success. I also show the way of improving the presentation and some activities that I have
done for achieve those improvement. And at last I show the reflection of this of this presentation
on me.

Friendliness: while communicating communicators have to be friendly with each other.
in a formal communication it works as the icebreaking session through which the communicators
can share their information with each other more effectively and comfortably (Thill and Bovée

Confidence: communicators have to be confident about what they have to deliver. the
information should not be ambiguous. if a communicator is not confident he might make some

Communicate Only What Is Needed: for a communication to be effective, it is a
suggestion by the researchers that make the message concise. to do so we can
communicate only what is needed. in this way we can be concise in our message and
reduce the possibility of making any mistakes.
Remain Aware of Cultural Differences:
There are many people work or live in an organization or society. They are from
different cultures. While communicating we should never be biased about someone's
culture. We should never criticize someone's culture. We should respect all the cultures
and communicate effectively.
Stay Open Minded for Questions and Answers: if a there is no scope of questioning
the information there are lots of questions that remain unanswered. This creates
co9nfusion among the listeners. For this confusion there might be severe affect in the
profit of the business and in the operation. So there should be a question answer session
in every communication where listener can as any questions to clear their confusions.
