INTRODUCTION
There are many changes which are taking place in society, which has to accepted by
person to know what improvement can be possible. Communication is the process between two
or more people which helps to exchange views of one by another. There are various ways
through which person can communicate with different person (Certo, 2018). It is essential that
person must convey proper information to person, so activities can be performed in effective
way. Communication has various hurdles which makes miscommunication in conversation. In
this report there is discussion about theory of communication, oral communication,
communication in writing.

Oral communication is easy as compared to written communication. But this method is
less preferable in business line. This is more effective when manger want to convey some
responsibilities over others. In oral communication there is use of mouth and words. These are
less reliable and used in meeting, conferences, telephonic conversation, etc. this is a method
which is quick and frequent to respond (Verčič, Verčič and Sriramesh, 2012). In case of any
doubt this can be managers can remove doubts, this helps to make good relations among
workers. This method is more friendly, so there are chances of rumours also. Some advantages of
oral communication are as under-
Quick replies make operations of business fast and this helps to make changes in plans
and policies.
There is good and calm relations among workers and managers.
Managers can know about mindset of workers through which they can apply policies in
effective and efficient way.
This method is time as well as cost consuming.
There are various places in organisation which is effective for achieving business
objectives. It is important to know what has to be through which company can perform business
operations in appropriate way (Robles, 2012). Due to change in plans and policies frequently,
written communication is less effective as compared to oral communication. So it is essential to
work as per plans and policies, so through oral communication roles and responsibilities can be
delivered in effective way. Oral communication is also important to make business run

effectively. Customer care representative have to take with customer via. Telephones,
interviewer ask questions with interviewee, etc. are example of oral organisation. There is an
example which shows significance of oral communication in organisation.

Customer: Hey! I am Pritam from California. I had placed an order of two dresses. I placed
order before 5 days and yet I did not able to receive my order. The expected date of order
received was 2 days before. Please can you check details of my order as I want my parcel on
urgent basis.
Customer Care Department: Sir Sorry for uncomfort. As per company policies order will be
received after three days of order. But in case you did not received offer, let me check your
order. Please tell me order number?

Customer Care Department: Sir! As per details your order has been dispatched from store
and it was rejected because of absence of recipient.
Customer Care Department: But delivery van does not give me call for the order. So this ius
against policy of company's. As per terms and condition of your company you make call to
customer if they do not find customer at place. This makes me disappointed and I want to
cancel my order right now.
Customer Care Department: Sir, your parcel will delivered very soon, please give me time till
tomorrow evening. You will definitely receive parcel till tomorrow, I will use make efforts for
your order. Please do not cancel order.
Me: Thank-You for your concern. I will wait for the product till for the parcel till tomorrow
otherwise will cancel order. As I need it on urgent basis, so afterwards it will be of no use.
