make profits. This is important for business organisation to communicate properly with
customers that can satisfy them effectively (Tanimoto and et. al., 2018). To understand about
business communication The Little Bus Company has been selected that is small size bus
operator company providing travelling services to its customers. This report is categories in two
part, first part covers challenges and barriers of effective communication, development of
strategies for overcoming the barriers and culture influences on communication and negotiation.

Introduction: In business environment there are many issues which is related to
communication and impacted organization negatively. To control such communication barrier
this report has been prepared. This cover information about purpose and principles of
communication, form of organizational communication and communication practices that helps
to maintain effectiveness in business organisation.
Literature review: According to Tang (2019), Business communication is the
continuous process which is used by one person for others in order to share their ideas and
thoughts. This is related with communication and related issues which influences business
organisation and make it profitable. There is need a proper and adequate transmission which
impacted positively on business firm and increase the profitability.
Analyse the purposes and principles behind forms of organisational communication
It has analysed that communication brings people together and closer to each other which
helps to fill the gap and attain the organisational goals. In context to The Little Bus Company, a
meeting held by management for all members or staff to address the communication issue and
implementation of policies to make it better (Lundgren and McMakin 2018). The two form of
communication is Oral and Written which is defined as:
Oral Form: This means when messages relies on words in order to convey appropriately.
In other words, people uses tone, gestures, postures, body language and expressions to share their
thoughts consider as oral communication.
Written Form: This is a medium through which sender convey its message to the
receiver through written form. This includes personal journals, e-mails, memos, articles and
letters which is used by people to communicate with others.
Purpose of communication
Flow of information: This states that relevant information must flow from top to bottom
continuously. Moreover, right information should reach the right person, at right time through
right person which helps to maintain effective communication (Downey and Bedard, 2018). In
context to The Little Bus company, management should share information from top to bottom
level that means information must be reach at low level or staff who are working. This helps to
make right business decision.

From the above discussion it has recommended that Little Bus Company should adopt
communication practices in proper way which can helps to listen the problems and provide them
services accordingly. Management of business organisation need to talk with their staff and make
efforts to satisfy them which helps to keep good behaviour with customers and themselves and
increase organisational productivity.

From the report it can be concluded that proper communication is important for business
organisation which helps to understand what they can do and how. In there is good culture and
communication in company then organisation can face the problem and maintain a good
relationships. There are 7 principles of communication which is used to maintain the relationship
between staff and management. There are many barriers such as psychological, language and
attitudinal barriers which can create problem for organisation and maintain profitability.
