INTRODUCTION
Business communication is the process of sharing information among the employee of
the organisation and outside people of an organisation that is to perform the business profit of the
organisation. It also refers how it shares the information to do promote of the organisation
product and service to the potential customer(Bovée, Thill and Raina, 2016)
. This report highlights the purpose and principle of different firm communication and also
reveals the effective communication to enhance an practice. Also shows the analysis and
discussion of all. In this regard present report has been prepared that involves the discussion over
the business communication practices.
LITERATURE REVIEW
Purpose and principle different form of organisational communication
As per the view of (Brink and Costigan, 2015)Business communication is very essential
for the organisation as to share the information within people and enterprise for benefit of the
organisation. The main purpose of the communication is to achieve the goal of the organisation.
It helps manger for the better performance to achieve an goal of the firm. To implementing the
new policies on the basis of objective of the organisation. Another purpose is to exchange the
information between the employees and the organisation that can help to make link with an
outside force of an organisation and get more outer information to the organisation and have
better link between the other business organisation. It help the organisation to achieve goal. On
the other hand (Escobar-Rodríguez and Bonsón-Fernández, 2017)
argued that just to implement new policies to achieve the goal of the organisation is not enough
also provide or give respect to the colleague for the better performance. Make good
communication with the colleagues in the organisation by sharing the information to them, so
that there is no issue afterword because of lack of communication.
As per the view of (Ha and Riffe, 2015) to achieve the goal of the organisation better
communication are require and that ac an be possible by following the principle for the better
communication in the organisation. Formal communication are to be used regularly for better
communication information. As the formal channel of communication is the best official way for
the firm. It has the flow of structure where the information are flow from up to down in an
systematic way between all subunit. So that all employees of the organisation get the information

properly at the same time and their can be no issue regarding the information and all people can
get the same respect by the organisation at the same time and all are satisfied and work with full
efficiency. It also help in achieving the goal of the organisation, and it is very essential for
implement new policies by using this channel. On the other hand (Nickerson, 2015)it says that
informal communication is more better than the formal communication as in formal the
employee are in restriction and just has to follow the instruction or structure and have to follow.
Because of it employee can't able to share it views. Which make employee feel that they are not
valued by the organisation and think that they are just an puppet to work by following the
structure to achieve the goal of Mr Fishy organisation. In such case if the company implement
new policies to follow than it is very difficult for employee to accept the policy and they will not
perform well. And by using the informal communication the employee get the information to the
personal network and are free to share its opinion to others regarding the information and also
feel that the company gives value to them and accept the new policies implement by the
company and it crate an friendly environment at the workplace. That is beneficial for the
company achieve the goal faster.
As per the view of (Pearson, 2017)it says that lot of challenges of the formal
communication has to be faced by the employees and employee of organisation. As today
increasing the craze of social medial and hence favouring the informal communication way.
Where the company are go to the formal way for effective communication. It is difficult to
accept by the young generation that prefer to use multiple source of communication like through
social media, text message etc. As formal is the inflexible channel and it create and challenge
for anyone those who want to say something regarding the information or something missed in
message. On the other hand (Veltsos, 2017) it says that weather the lot of challenges are their in
the formal communication but still it is more safer and good. As in informal communication it is
good for creating the relation but it create an opportunity for rumours to spread and message not
remain in control which result employee may get wrong information. And also have an more
chance of conflict among the employees. That decrease the productivity of organisation. And
affect the communication and create more challenges within the organisation.
ANALYSIS AND DISCUSSION
From the above it is analyse that business communication is very impotent for Mr fishy
organisation to achieve the target of the firm by implementing the new policies in the firm. And

exchange the information between the employees for more better communication through the
formal and informal way But owner says that just to implement new policies is not enough also
the communication need to be clear between the employee and have good relation between the
employees and the employer and which is possible only by good communication(Bovée, Thill
and Raina, 2016). If the communication is nit better and the employees are nit getting the proper
respect by their superior. Where the superior just to achieve the goal of the organisation making
new policies and implementing such policies and not giving respect or concentration on the
employee. Instead of these they need to be inform the each employees regarding the implement
of the new policies and also if it is possible than try to get the feedback from the employees
regarding the new policies. It also analyse that by using the formal channel it has various
challenges are their, as in formal communication it has to follow the hierarchy of structure from
the up to down and the employee has to follow the same structure of the communication, in this
if some message is missing than(Brink and Costigan, 2015).
It is very difficult for anyone to change the message faster as in this it just instruct the
information and not listening the from the below level which result wrong information are share
to the employees till it change the message again. For this Mr fishy company need to take proper
measure like after sending the information from the top level to the bottom level, they also take
the feedback or reply from the bottom level that they receive the information or not and. If any
issues is their regarding the information than the top level get the reply from the lower level and
they can rectify the mistake, if any mistake is committed by them that can be corrected within
time. Also it analyse that employee are not getting the proper respect from the superior it create
an negative impact on the employee which result the employee may dissatisfied and it may
reduce the performance of the employee(Escobar-Rodríguez and Bonsón-Fernández, 2017). So
to get the better performance by the employee. It require that proper respect to be provided by
the superior to the employee so that they feel satisfied with result increase in the performance of
the employee and also accept the new policies faster.
CONCLUSION
From the above study it is concluded that Business communication is the life blood of Mr
fishy organisation and to achieve the goal of the firm the effective communication plays an vital
role. Formal communication can be used for more better communication between the employees
and the higher authorise people. It maintain the hierarchy of the flow of communication from up

to down which reduce the conflict between the employees and it build good relation among the
people and side by side raise the performance of the employee as they get respect from the
company side. Which result in increase the productivity of the organisation.
