Task 1:
Australian box delivery services is a business with more than 20 years of experience.
It was started with a purpose of reaching one person busy households in one locality and
expanded all over Australia (Bargiela-Chiappini and Nickerson 2014). The mission of our
organisation is to reach those citizens of Australia who are busy with their daily schedule and
does not get enough time to take care of themselves. Vision of the organisation is to make
sure that good quality services are provided to each customer. The company provides meals
of an individual’s choice made with care and love. The food served are rich in nutritional and
delectable flavours.
The company was found by two friends named Tom potter and Harry Hailstone. The
director of the company is Jake Frinandis, he has been serving the company from last seven
years. The company has 200 employees and 5 teams, each team has two team leaders that
guide and motivate the team towards the organisational goal. Each team leader is monitored
by an operational manager and an assistant manager. We are expanded all across Australia
with 30 branches and 1000 stores open in the entire country.
We have clients who are busy with their schedules and are unable to take care of their
food habits and meals. These clients are mainly university students and full time employers.
We provide a box not just filled with a meal of their choice but a meal that has been prepared
with love and pleasure. We promise our customers to deliver their meal within 30 minutes of
their order placing time.
Australian box delivery services solely enjoys 16% of the total market share in food
industry and is now aiming to attain a union status. Though the number of stores are rising in
the country we observe a loss in our food works in the last three financial year which was a
crucial time. However, we have headed towards recovery. We have two major competitors in

the industry of which Australian food services is our main concern because of the similar
products and services provided by them.
I am the Human resources manager of the organisation and my key role is to ensure
professional development among our employees and departments. Also, our primary role is to
attract and hire fresh talents in the market so that our business have enough manpower to
grow and innovate with time. Besides, our team focuses on motivating the employees of the
organisation towards attainment of the organisational goals.
Task 2
According to the recent survey it was found that around 50% of the customers of our
company were not satisfied with the space available on the plane. They felt the area of the
plane was too little to accommodate so many customers and the presence of seats made the
plane congested. Three out of ten customers found that the plane was often delayed and had
various management issues. Although the customers were satisfied with cleanliness and staffs
behaviour they were really disappointed with the quality of the food and on board prices of
the plane. They somehow felt that the plane was not worth the price because of the
unsatisfactory services provided by the plane.
The management needs to take care of the customer comfort and entertainment.
Firstly, the space of the flight needs to get expanded by at least 20 m and the spaces between
each seats and rows should increase by 20 cm in order to comfort the customers better. Next,
the quality of the food services needs to be improvised or replace as soon as possible. Food
quality ratings were too low (4.1 out of 10) and can be the primary concern why the
consumers feel the on board prices are not justified. Entertainment is one area where the
company needs to be creative and innovative. The management of the organisation should
take a special care of the flight timings and the on board prices. They should focus on cutting

down the costs that are attracting negative reviews or negative feedbacks. It should focus on
revising the overall marketing plan of the organisation.
Other data that need to be taken care of is whether the customers feel safe travelling
with us, how well the plane takes off and land. A feedback about how quickly their queries
are being listened and responded to should also be incorporated. Apart from these, we need to
get a detailed insights of what our customers are expecting from our company so that we
know what exactly needs to be changed in order to attract more customers.

take precautionary measures in order to control it from spreading (Washington 2014). The
readers of the document are Australian public. The article would be available online and in
various newspapers.
It all started with Chinese eating an infected bat, being a virus it cannot stay in one’s
body for more than ten minutes and spreads with air contacts. As soon as it started spreading
Chinese started travelling to different countries and somehow the virus was found all across
the world. The virus spreads regardless of age, destination or health. On 17th march, 2020 23
new cases of the disease was found, increasing the number of cases on a daily basis. Also,
World Health Organisation is unable to find a permanent solution to this problem. Infected
people are kept in isolation and given proper medication (Smith etal. 2016). However, there
is no guarantee that it will be cured.
Preventive measures taken by the government was to restrict the entry of any
individual in the country without proper checking and testing. Travel bans have been imposed
in countries like China, Iran and many others (Zhu etal, 2020). All the Australians returning
from foreign trips need to take proper precautions and stay in isolating for at least 14 days so
that even if they are infected it does not get spread. Various gatherings and events are getting
postponed or delayed for a couple of weeks in order to control the virus from spreading. Also,
it was advisable to the entire nation to take preventive precautions and consider not visiting
crowded places to minimise the risk of getting infected. Schools, universities and malls are
getting shut to ensure proper care and safeguards.
