INTRODUCTION
Effective communication is the process of exchanging any useful information , idea,
thoughts and knowledge etc to fulfill the purpose or the intention in the best possible manner. It
is important for the every person to have this skill so the other person who is receiving the
information will get the proper and clear information. Effective communication is the way to
impress other and make goodwill in the other's mind.
This report will provide the experience of the job in the banking company as a assistant
manager. It will provide what writer have experience of the effective communication in the
previous job with the help of Driscoll Model.
PART A
Driscoll Model of Reflection
What
I was doing a job in one of the top bank in United Kingdom where I was on the post of
assistant managers and working under the manager of the Bank. I have work in that bank for
more than 2 years and manager of the bank was having experience of almost 8 years. This was
my best experience to work under the manager because I get chance to take experience and gain
new skills from the manager (Ahmad., 2016). If was impressive to see that how manager is
talking because he was having effective communication skills and I wanted to implement those
skills in myself. When any of the account holder get into the trouble and facing nay problem than
he was always ready to talk and solve their problems . He always listens to the problem of the
customers properly and after listening to the customers he used to provide clear and proper
solution to the customer which helps to solve the problem of the customers. My senior
manager always use language which is understandable for the customers, so they can always
understand what information manager is providing. The Best thing about my senior was that he
was so concordance give answer with the perfection.
So What
This experience enables me to improve my performance as well because I used to learn
the effective communication skills and use it in my personal life or my job. This skills also help
me to improve my personal life as well and now I am having good experience of the effective
communication skills which helps me to impress other person and I can also provide required
help to them with the clear and effective communication to the other person. After getting the

experience from the senior manager I was using those skills to provide helps to the customers in
the bank and try to talk with the others with the confidence (Bergin., 2019). This take time to
lean those skills but it was very helpful to make good relation with the customers. Whenever I
used to face any problems than manager of always ready for the answer and this make me get
improved and better. After the 2 years I left the job but best thing about me is that I was having
communication skills.
Now what
Now I am using these skills in my personal life to provide clear and right information
and it is used in mu every day life. Effective skill will be useful for me in the future bob as well.
This will help me to create good experience in front of the interviewer (Kreslake, Price and
Sarfaty., 2016). I am also having enough confidence ion my communication which will always
be with me and helps me to overcome from the problems in the life. Now i am thinking to join
another job and apply for the senior and I am confident on my communication skills to get me
this job as a senior manager of the company.

communication has huge impact on my personal life it helps to improve my performance
in the job and increase my efficiency to work in the job. Effective skills always help me to do
thing fast and better way because whenever someone gives any useful information to me I used
to listen to them carefully and after listing to them I used to implement all the instruction my
task this makes my work more better and properly. This was the reason I was able to improve my
performance in my job and personal life both.
Effective communication also affect on my behavior and I have learned how to task
with the other in proper way, so they can understand what I am telling them and what they have
to do. This make me understand that if I will talk to the customers (properly) than they will take
interest to listen to me, and they will understand what I want to tell (.Norouzinia and et.al.,
2016). This also create trust among the other. Behavior always change with the effective
communication, it is important for used to have food behavior with the other for the effective
communication.
This provides me good experience from my senior manager in my previous job because I
get skills like effective communication which is helping me to use these skills to help others
