Communication barriers in working with Children
The communication with children is too difficult as it creates several barriers in
communication. The communication deals with the severla barriers in working with the children.
The process of communication includes severla languages to express the several ideas (Chiu, et
al., 2015). I have analyzed that the severla child experiences problems in communicating with
others so they fall behind in school and face several struggles in their study and other activities.
The different type of barriers in communicating with children are discussed below-
Cognitive Issues
The cognitive issues are created due to the lack of thinking skills that create different
problems which create the several issues like imagination, intellect, reasoning and
memory perception. The cognitive problems occurred due to the severla causes like brain
injuries and other important problems (Maguire, 2000). This process highly impacts the
overall process and create problems in working with the child as they have lack of
thinking skills.
Language Issues
The lack of knowledge regarding language create communication problems like to analyse
the speech in a proper manner. The expressive language disorder creates severla problems for
a child while communicating. The other disorder is repetitive language disorder that create
difficulty for the child to understand the spelling used by themselves.
Fluency Issues
Fluency defines the issues that refers to the ability of child to communicate with the
normal speech flow. The speech creates several fluency issues that includes various
hesitations. The example of fluency disorder is stuttering. The severla child faced this
problem and affect the overall working process.
Voice Issues
The voice problems create many difficulties in the communication of children as it
directly affects the quality of the voice. This disorder lead to the different issues that
