INTRODUCTION
Effective communication is vital for conveying the message appropriately from
one person to other so that the another individual completely understands the
information which is being conveyed by the individual.
Driscoll Model of Reflection is introduced by the John Driscoll in 1994. It is the
reflective model in which ones' feeling and experience are share with the help of three
questions that is “What?”,”So What?” and “Now What?”. In this above report includes
the essay on the basis of job experience which reflects the effective communication
skills with the help of Driscoll model of reflection.
MAIN BODY
What
Driscoll Model of Reflection the three questions to stage of the experimental
learning cycle and the questions are “What?”, “So What?” and “Now What?”. The model
has been explained below with the help of these questions. In this question it describes
he event which occurred in the job experience (Leiss and Larkin, 2019). When I was
working with a company. I was not able to communicate with my team members along
with the top management. Because of that I faced a lot of things due to poor
communication skills. My team member, and I was given the task for raising the sale of
the product which is soon launched by the organization. The success of that product
values for common very such in their success and raising revenues. For attracting the
wide range of consumer and let that product to be popular among the consumers to
purchases that (Ellison, 2015). The team of employees has been allotted with the
responsibility for approaching the target market segment and promote the product.
Meeting was conducted for this purpose by top management for discussing major
aspects of the product and how can be strategies formed so that it can be helpful in the
growth of company. In meeting, I was given a responsibility to coordinate with team
members, monitoring and interacting with the all team members for helping them in
understanding the product benefits.
So What
As I was appointed with the task for coordinating with team members and
interacting with the customers on daily basis, the good communication skills are being

required and I was lacking behind due to that. I was unable to communicate with my
team members at the time of task regrading problems which is being faced during the
task. Along with that I was also unable to communicate or interact with the customers
and due to lack of confidence I was not able to solve the problems of consumer as well.
Interaction with the team members was not on regular basis and thus it affected the
productivity which have been decreased significantly. My ability to convince the
consumer was not up to the level due to lack of effective communication and so the sale
of the product is also going down (Muszynska and et.al., 2015, May). After that I have
self assessment, and found that my poor communication skills are the major reason
behind all this, for that I had started to improve my communication skills and trying to
remove hesitation in speaking and interacting I had started taking feedbacks from my
team members which could help me in improving this. Along with that I started to
interact more with the consumer and getting involve with them so that I could easily
interact and let the consumer know about the product and its benefits, which is helpful
for attracting the consumer to the product (Cronjé and Buys, 2015). So as an outcome
of this I had noticed that my tea, member started to ask questions if any problem has
been arisen with them and this increase the productivity of the company and employee
as well. All these efforts made by e is helpful raising the sale of the company effectively.
Now What
As I had improved my communication skills it was very helpful for me in erasing
my individual performance. I had developed the confidence in me, hesitation which I
was facing before has been broke and I now can easily interact with anyone without any
hesitation which is helpful for me in confidently putting my view in front of anyone. My
performance has also been increased as I started to interact with the consumers directly
which is helpful for attracting the consumer with help of rendering the complete
information and benefits to them about the product. This directly increases the sale of
the product and the product has been become popular among the consumer and thus
the profit for this month had been extraordinary. My top management was impressed by
my performance, and they had appreciated my work and also got promotion due to that.
This all is being done due to the effective communication skills which is being
developed by me during the completion of task which is helpful for me in interacting with

the team members along with the customers (McCroskey, 2015). Thus the productivity
of employees has also been increased as they can share their problems and which can
be effectively solved by e and the top management, and they can work further for the
target which is being to be achieved by them. Daily communication and interaction with
the employees also helps em to motivate and encourage the employees for achieving
the target within the given time period.
CONCLUSION
From the above study it is concluded that the effective communication is very
important in enhancing the individual performance, work experience and behaviour in
the job profile. It is necessary needed in the organization for achieving the target of the
company effectively and getting the huge profit margin within the financial year.
Effective communication is helpful in developing the self-confidence and breaking the
hesitation for interacting with any other person. With effective communication one can
easily interact and communicate with each other and convey their message or
information appropriately with each other. So it could be understood by them.
