INTRODUCTION
Organisational communication is important aspect for transfers of views and share
important information with others as well as outside the organisation. It is significant for
manager in organisation for performing basic functions like planning, organizing, leading and
controlling business and meetings. The present report will discuss a meeting which is Held by
Mr. Fishy for address some serious issues and implement new policies to ensure better
cooperation respect between staff. Report will describe the purpose and principles of
organisational communication. Study will enhance effective communication by applying
principles. It will also evaluate the communication practices of themselves and others.

Literature review
Theme1: The purpose and principles of organisational communication
Mr. Fishy is getting the things done through others. The people working in organisation
should therefore be informed how to do the work and meeting assigned to them in the best
possible manner. According to the Crane and Livesey (2017), flow of information is best purpose
of communication in Taylor scientific management theory. It is best purpose of communication
because it is important to flow continuously form top to bottom and vice versa. At this level staff
kept informed about the organisation objectives and other development taking that take place in
organisation against overcoming communication barriers and challenges. Flow of information is
important because this promotes motivation by taking proper information and clarifying
employees about the task to be done in effective manner or solve communication barriers.
As per the view of Dahama (2019), developing good human relations between staff and
managers in order to clear communication barriers. Max weber bureaucratic theory is help to
develop good human relation in organisation. That meeting help to them for understand each
other better. They are realize the difficulties which is faced by their colleagues at the workplace.
This lead the promotion of good human relations in the organisation. This help to control process
by managing relations between employees because employee relation is good when work
mistakes are reduce and result is perfect as per expectations.
Theme2: Principles of effective communication for enhance practices
Effective communication is highly required for enhance work practices in organisation
or overcome communication barriers which generated in organisation. According to the Powell

and Powell (2015), the principle of clarity means is to communicator should use such a effective
language which is easy to understand by others and help to reduce communication barriers form
organisation. It is very important for communicator to provide proper information to other and
for receiver to understood those messages. The word used should be simple and easy to
understand by others. In the communication process is simple language is highly important for
understanding views of others.
Denton Jr, Trent and Friedenberg (2019) cited Powell and Powell (2015), the integration
principle of communication is best for effective communication. This is the efforts of human
resource of the organisation should be integrated towards achievement of corporate objective. He
said efforts of humans for connecting with aims and objectives important for effective
communication. The aim of communication is the set a target of work by conveying message
with others. This will help to coordinate with all activities of people at work to attain the
corporate goals.
Theme3: Evaluate communication practices
Meeting refer to these four skills of collectively as effective communication skills. The
most important part to learn skills and best practices of communication by considering effective
listening, reading, writing and talking way. Good communication have wide repertoire of skills
and able to adjust communication style in response to many problems they face. Here are a few
principle to consider for evaluating effective communication practices for themselves and others.
As per the view of Vom Brocke, Petry and Gonser (2016), understand your audience first is
important in communication process because in the communication process active listening is
important. Before, translating and sharing views with others it is important to listen proper and
understand your audience what is the perspective of other. This is the best communication
practice for themselves.
In contradict Mingers and Yang (2017), said that the it is important for other to
communicate proper by understanding yourself message to their senior and others for taking
proper decision. When you are clear on why you are communicating, the you add credibility for
their communication. This leads more effective communication process in organisation in
effective and proper manner. For that breading and writing in proper manner is important when
your clear then generated effective communication at workplace.

1. Analysis the purpose and principles behind forms of organisational communication.
The communication is bring people together, closer to each other in organisation. This is
closely associated with all other managerial functions. Taylor scientific management is
management oriented and production centred perspective of organisational communication. The
organisational is balancing the creativity and constraint between work. As per Taylor “the best
management is true science resting upon clearly defined rules, regulations, principles as per Mr.
fishy restaurant. This principle is best and effective for flow of information purpose of
communication in effective manner (Goodman, Straub and Baskerville, 2016). The job could be
performed better if it was done by collecting continuous information with others. Flow of
information is create a great work in organisation because of getting time to time information
with others.
This help to Mr. fishy manager examine task and work first and secondly determine the
needs is the best way to complete task or job. Third must select most appropriate person for the
task at the same time properly compensating that person. At the last, complete task with the help
of best and eligible people in proper and effective communicate way without misusing any
information. Taylor argued that the there should be only one way in order to explain job and
message with others. This is effective principle for effective organisational communication. The
main purpose of this theory is to flow of information for bes and positive outcome of work.
2. Apply different principles of effective communication in order to enhance practices.
The main principle of effective communication for enhancing practices is integration of
people towards work. Integration is the best policy for making good result of work. The
communication have aim to achieve the target. Mr. fishy restaurant have target to resolve
communication barriers from work place in effective manner. This should coordinate with
activities of the people at work to attain the corporate goals (Communication: Meaning, Purpose,
Importance and Principles, 2019). For effectively reduce communication barriers here is
analysis the integration is best policy because if employees are integrated with work and give
efforts for best work the target of work is achieved. This is effective communication principle in
order to enhance practices at workplace.

communication at Mr. fishy restaurant. Clear information is create perfect image of work in mind
and its require needs of work done. Manager of Mr. fishy should use this for reducing barriers of
communication in proper manner (McLeskey, Rosenberg and Westling, 2017). Clarity in work,
clarity of work and clear information are important think for enhance practices of
communication at workplace. The language not create any confusion or misunderstanding.
Language is the medium of communication: hence it should be clear and understandable by
others.

The communication is a practice of good transfers of views and information with others.
In order to communicate in proper manner here is discuss about evaluation of communication
practices for themselves and for others. This create the good senses of work in proper manner.
Understanding your audience is the best communication practice for themselves because if you
are understand the needs of audience then it is not matter what is your opinion. Before
communicating with others here is important to understand views of others for work and good
result. This practice of communication is best for themselves to working in Mr. fishy restaurant.
Like is your audience focused on maximizing profits or social media. On the other side,
for others it is important to communicate proper by understanding yourself in organisation. This

very important and effective for workplace growth. Like when you are not clear with their own
aim of work or why you are communicating, your genuine self with shine through and add
credibility in your communication. This is the real communication practice for others because
this leads to more effective communication in proper manner. For effective communication here
is important to clear objectives of work in proper manner.

From the above analysis and discussion, it had been concluded that the principles of
communication create the positive work environment and overcome barriers of communication
in effective manner. Applying clarity and integration principle in company for effective
communication process. Both principles has help to enhance communication practices at
workplace. It had been concluded that the communication has the practice for themselves and
others. For that, understanding the audience and clarifying themselves has important for
