25. Methods of gathering information
The data can be collected by two methods, either by primary or secondary. Primary data is
considered as the data that is being collected for the first time and its sources can be classified as
the information gathered by means of surveys, interviews, focused groups and questionnaire
(Jirwe, Gerrish and Emami, 2010). Secondary data is considered as the data that has already been
collected by some external body. Various sources for secondary data involve the data and
information from the books, journals and other online sources.
In this research, the researcher will make use of the primary data because the data
gathered from the means of surveys, interviews can help in analysing better about what barriers
people face in hospitals regarding their language (Kale and Syed, 2010). It is considered as a
better option because in secondary data, there is a possibility that the data might be old which
cannot act relevant enough for the research. So, the researcher wills make use of the primary data
in this research.

All the data and information in the research will be collected by primary sources of data
and for this, the researcher can make use of the data from questionnaire, can take surveys from
people or sample collected, can take interview from a set of people so that they can be able to
