India is one of the biggest countries having large numbers of opportunities available with
them. Mukesh Ambani understood these opportunities and invested in different kinds of
business. Already when his father died this company was into the business of many things but
when he became the Chairman of Reliance Industries Limited, he started taking risks which
in turn helped him in achieving high speed growth and helped him to improve the business
and take it to another level (LeRoux and Wright, 2010). For example when he started the
business of ‘Jio’ (telecommunication provider) he provided services to the people free of
cost. This made ‘Jio’ the biggest service provider in the industry wiping out many companies
from their competition in the Indian market. It was a risk taken by him that made him
successful.

the leadership is successful or not is the fact that it has scope in the international markets is
the growth of the company. The first in this direction is the fact that there is an increase in the
profits generated by the firm. Reliance industries Ltd. have an increase in the profit share
every year (Kohlrieser, 2011). Alone in the quarter of July-September there is an increase in
the profit shares by 18% which reached to a new level of Rs. 11,262 from Rs. 9,516 that was
an year ago. This was also higher than the first quarter growth of reliance in the year 2019

have to be done on the regular basis. In the time when the strategies are getting complicated,
it has become essential for the leaders to ensure that ethics is maintained in it. Since modern
day business has many stakeholders whose interests are to be fulfilled hence it is necessary
for the leaders to look at different aspects of the business so that the interest of any
stakeholders does not get hampered. In all his strategies he has been emphasizing on the
ground reality of that country and according to the cultural norms of that nation (Chatterjee,
2010).
