2BUSINESS COMMUNICATION POST B
Post B
It is to mention for ensuring more effective learning, it is very import that we reflect
our experience and consider what actually we have learnt. From the discussion I have
understood that effective leadership is the key to effective business communication. Not all
style of leadership is suitable for every business. We must first understand which style best
suits the cultural fit for understanding the demands of the employee and lead by example.
The three key points that I have learnt from the discussion are- a) that there is a
significant difference in between a boss and a leader, b) communication is the key to the
success of a business leader (Simcic Bronn, 2014). Leaders should be a very skilled
communicators in huge number of relationships at organisational level, in the groups, in
communities and also, sometimes on global scale c) a true leader always has the confidence
of standing alone and courage of making the tough decisions in difficult times along with the
compassion of listening to the needs of other people (Spears & Lawrence, 2016).
I can apply these knowledge that I have gained in my future professional career where
I too might be given the role of leading a team or a group of people. I would ensure that all
the key points that I have learnt regarding effective business communication and effective
leadership are followed by me in order to bring out the best out of my team and to provide the
organisation that would be working for, its desired and deserved outcomes. I would also
ensure that I am approachable for my team members so that they never hesitate to share their
problems with me that could likely be a key reason behind business or project failure. I would
also ensure that effective communication practices are in place.
