The Possessed Leadership Qualities
To analyse my efficiency to operate within a multicultural organization as an efficient
leader I must determine where I am actually belonging in respect to my strengths, the way I
used to act as well as react to an activity and also identify what kind of values I am
accustomed with (Drucker, 2005).
Analysis: Among some of my possessed characteristics I am aware about include the
capability of listening. Before responding to any specific situation, action or opinion I used to
listen carefully then try to understand that. I am also hard working and passionate about doing
something different and new always. I do not lose hope so easily rather I possess
perseverance and pose a positive attitude. I also hold the ability to motivate others through
providing them inspirations to give effort and overcome the limitations. Among my notable
values or believes which I possess include the respect for the others and the leave them
independent and help as per the ability. To be an effective leader apart from all these
characteristics are indispensable but to lead and manage a multicultural environment one
needs some more. Some of these include the effective communicating power as well as the
frank and friendly approach but I am kind of an introvert or shy personality, which obstruct
me to share opinion easily. Apart from this, leaders required to be proactive where I am
lagging behind. Apart from all the most important quality they requires to possess is the
ability to make decision that in turn require one to be responsible as well as confident enough
but in case of me I am scared to take any responsibilities due to lack of confidence. The
managers operating within a multicultural organization requires to be unite the different
people with different goals which requires one to motivate and manipulate them collaborate
with each other to contribute to the growth of the organization which assure them to get their
personal goals achieved.

Though I possess some required characteristics and values, which are essential for the
managers, still I do not possess all most of the characteristics, which are indispensable for the
managers to manage people in global working environment. To establish myself as an
efficient leader I have to work hard and all the above-mentioned indispensable qualities.
Management in Multicultural Organization
The multicultural organizations or organization that operates in different countries
requires managing a diverse workforce. The leaders are required to motivate the people from
different regions requires to unite their requirement as well as connect their individual goal
with the organization. Because of these entire requirement and the implied challenges
managers require possessing certain characteristics some of which are mentioned below
Motivating Quality: The managers are required to possess the quality of motivating the
people to give their effort to achieve the goal (Lascelles & Dale, 2013).
Planning, Organizing and Directing: The managers in global organization requires to plan
as well as structure their activities as well as organizing the future steps effectively, then they
are required to direct the people in a right path through making them aware about the thing
that is expected from them (Hutt & Hutt, 2015).
Supervising and Collaboration: All the managers irrespective of their domain of operating
require to possess the ability not only to plan the activities but also requires supervising the
people as well as their activities to meet or achieve the target (Morgan, 2014).
Effective Communication and Empathy: The managers operating in global organization
with diverse workforce requires to possess the ability to communicate effectively as well as
the empathetic approach towards people, which give the workers the sense of connectivity,
and dignity, which in turn makes them contribute to the growth of the organization.

The most important as well as indispensable five characteristics that a manager
operating globally must possess the followings
Self-control and Awareness: The manager who operates globally requires being aware
about both the internal as well as external situation.
Efficient Communication: The global managers must possess the efficient communication
power to understand other as well as express self-opinion or expression to others (Husain,
2013).
Directing and Organizing: As a global manager, one must possess the quality to organize
the activities and direct the people in right way to achieve the goal.
Confidence and Proactivity: The managers to operate in global environment must possess
the ability to predict about the future upcoming problems as well as the opportunities to grab
and make the decision efficiently and plan as well as go forward with confidence or without
any hesitation (Young & Poon, 2013).
To establish self as an efficient manager with the expectation of operating globally as
well as managing the multicultural or a diverse workforce one must possess the
abovementioned qualities or characteristics.
