Importance of Time Management and Leadership in Teamwork Projects

Argument on the most important skills which an individual bring to the team.
I have good time management skills which I bring to the team. With the support of good
time management skills I assist my team members in completion of the task according to the set
schedule. As I worked in marketing department I and my team members were provided with the
research project which have to complete within specific time period. As we have to conduct a
survey on large scale within limited span. As a team leader I have prepared the schedule and ask my
team member to follow the same (Ravenscroft, 2018).
And my team members has followed the same due to which we have been successful in
completing the project on time. One of my team members argues that our team has able to complete
task due to the effective strategic management. According to the my other team members effective
coordination and strategic management is very much important in context of working in a team. In
addition to this, other evidence which shows that time management skills is very much important
for team, is that there has been competition between my team members and other groups during the
training session (Hao, Yang W., & Shi, 2019).
During the competition two team that is my and other group has been provided with time
based task. This competition was conducted by human resource manager in an organisation for
measuring the efficiency of employees working in different department. During the competition by
utilising the time management skills has helped my team members in winning the competition.
Considering the time management skills of mine, manager in an organisation has assigned me as
task to increase the productivity as well as working efficiency of my team members. During the
research project I assisted my team members in prioritisation the task (Power, 2018). As a leader I
have set some short as well as long team objectives for my team members and provided them with
the strategies which they can utilise for achieving the desired target. I have also provided with the
appropriate training to team members at regular interval of time which has assisted them in
increasing their working efficiency as well as productivity.
