INTRODUCTION
Learning environment is defined as the various physical locations, culture and context in
which students gain knowledge and learns various skills. The report will discuss the significance
of learning environment in promoting creativity and learning abilities of the learners.
PART 1
Integration of learning environment with different learning and education fields
The learning environment can affect the learning capabilities of the students. The
environment which allows students to collaborate and communicate with the teachers or other
students encourages creative arts among students. If instead of conventional environment
classrooms use interactive approaches then, children can learn while playing games or simple
activity. The mathematical learning is more effective when learning environment provides
opportunity in graphical environment or tools instead of mere theories or description (Tandon,
Saelens and Christakis, 2015). The effectiveness of the learning environment also helps students
to gain the insight of technical knowledge at very young age. For example the learning
environments in which teachers uses technological tools for teaching and solving science
problems then students can get familiar with tush technical advancements.
Similarly, the learnings related to the science are greatly affected and dependent upon the
nature of classrooms. There are several phenomenons and science effects which cannot be
understood by practical demonstrations or the examples. If learning environment integrates with
the advanced teaching methods and tools then science and technical learnings can be easily
improved. It has been also observed that the learning environment which are capable to retain the
interests of the students in the learning. Thus, the effective learning environment can enhance the
literacy capabilities.
Role of learning environment in promoting creativity
Creativity has been one of the primary goal for the educational curriculums so that the
overall development and learning process can be improved. The creativity is vital as it helps
learner to become more adaptable and flexible towards changes and working processes (Størksen
and et.al., 2015). The learning environment has critical impact on promoting creativity. The
learning environment in which teachers uses innovative teaching methods or allow creative
interaction among subjects and children are very effective. When students learn in such

environment children are motivated and excited to follow the same approach and to come up
with more creative things.
Contrary to this the learning environments in which teachers does not pay attention to
make the learning environment effective and innovative the problems are solved repeatedly by
complex and traditional solutions. Such learning environment make children habitual of
following old and regular patterns instead of searching for new creations (Brooker, 2017). For
the young children the practices followed by the teachers are taken as standard example. Thus, if
teachers does not maintain a learning environment full of creativity then learners will not be able
to understand the usefulness and implementation of the creativity process.
For encouraging the creativity among learners it is required that they must be provided
favourable environment. It is possible only learning environment is designed in a way which has
space for the creativity and which enhances curiosity and diverse thinking among students.
PART 2
Relation between dramatic plays and mathematics
Dramatic plays are considered as effective approach to promote mathematical learning
with fun and excitement. The drama play provides rich possibilities for the mathematical
development. These plays allow students and specially young age children to reflect on and to
represent the mathematical idea which emerges during play. Many students in the age group of
3-5 years who are afraid of maths or who find it difficult can easily learn the mathematical
concepts in playful activities. Various activities of the drama enable young children to learn
different concepts. For example during dramatic plays when dealing with objects children can
learn to classify various shapes and colours. They can also compare and explore the size and
magnitude of the objects.
The teachers can also use blocks in the play so that students can get familiar with the
dimensions, weight and to understand the sequences on the basis of mathematical shapes, size
and their usage. Thus, the dramatic plays can be considered as the huge source of providing
graphical enrich environment (Tandon, Saelens and Christakis, 2015). Children under 5 years
does not have memory skills and thus their mathematical understanding can be develop only
through these plays so that they can learn through practical exposure to the repeated graphical
environment in the dramatic play.
