INTRODUCTION
Study skills is very important for higher education because it will improve the ability of
person to learn and retain knowledge. For example, time management is one of the best study's
skills that help in the whole efforts of getting higher education. This skill are ability that need to
enable students to learn and study efficiently. The present study explain about study skills (Time
management) that is essential for higher education. This report clarifies some suggestion for TM
and its importance in study. Furthermore, it identifies some issues in HE and justify some
suggestions that deals with this problem effectively.
TASK
1. Suggestions on time management
Study skills are one of the best approach applied to learning which are generally critical
to success in education institutes. It also considered necessary for getting good grades and useful
for acquisition throughout one's life (Time Management - Meaning and its Importance, 2018). It
will usually learn in short time and applied in whole structure of study. For example, time
management is one of that ability that help for acquiring good educations. It refers to controlling
or managing time efficiently that manage entire functions and activities. Effective TM permits
person's to assign specific time slots to activities as per their value. It plays essential role not only
in company but also in personal lives of human beings.
In higher educations time management is one of the biggest issue that make barriers in
achieving set objectives (Van Hees, Moyson and Roeyers, 2015). It impacts on other activities of
students which is necessary to resolve as soon as possible. There are some suggestions for
effective time management-
Suggestion for time management-
Effective planning: It is one of the good suggestion for students that they use for
managing their time. Before, doing study or learn something new students make plans in
which they have to include their schedule or activities that they want to do in the whole
day. It assists them to minimize risk of failure and help to gain desired goals and
objectives.
Setting objectives and goals: Working without targets and goal will be similar to
conditions where captain of ship loses his way in ocean. Student have to set their aim or
objective that help for achieving higher education.

Spending right time on accurate activity: Students has to develop or improve habit of
doing thing right at accurate time that manage their work according to planed schedule.
They must organized their all work without wasting time on that activities which takes a
day or hours to be done.
2. Agree and disagree points on time management
Agree- Spending right time on accurate activity
Develop habit of doing activity at right time is one of the best way that manage or control
time of students. It reduces risk of wasting time in whole day activity which must be done in an
hour or so (Grissom, Loeb and Mitani, 2015). Within including this skill individual save their
time and a day that they will use in some good or better work. It helps to accomplish function or
activities more in shorter period which leads to more free time, that lets students take vantage of
learning opportunities, advantage to more career success and lower down their stress.
Disagree- Effective planning and setting objectives and goals
Effective planning take longer period of time for make plans that impact on other
activities of students. In other words it consumes time in making up plan particularly when
results of these plan against schedule. Before, devising any program individual set list, delegate
responsibilities and set deadlines which need too much time or complete day. It leads to
dissatisfaction of not having wasted time and worked hard. Sometimes it does not work
efficiently in personal lives as well as managing time.
Setting objectives and goals is one of the time management stages that including in the
whole process of TM. But, is does not work efficiently at the stage where goal do not explain
clearly which takes students off in different directions (Ruffing and et.al., 2015). Some times it
makes individual confuse how to begin or doing in which way. It also lowers down the level of
confidence of students while others will move confidently towards assorted interpretations of set
goals.
3. Suggestion for improving time management skills
Effective planning provides information students needs to make effective decisions about
how to manage time in way that will enable them to get higher educations. Thus, before make
any plans they have to understand what they really want to achieve within set time. Planning is
considered one of most essential tools in managing time, it is needs and crucial to be done at
early stage. Pupil have to make plan before carry on their activities or study because each

planned stages takes them closer to their set goals and objective. It helps individual's by giving
good directions towards achieving its target aim such as getting higher education in simple way.
It saves their time and also support to avoid effort form being wasted on other activities which
takes longer period of time. They have to define their tasks, identify needs, consider alternative,
create plan, implement plan in their studies and evaluate. These steps improve and develop their
skills more than now which is required for acquiring better educations.
On the other side students must set their goals and objectives within including clear
vision or directions. Prioritizing tasks is one of the best suggestion that will improve or organized
time of students and they manage their studies easily (Fernandes, 2014). They should identify
which task they want to be done within a day and what will be done within month and so on.
Before, setting goals each individual's get clarify on their work's structure and focus on what
they want to control and have planned for rest. They must avoid keeping stacks of heaps of paper
at their study table. Remove all the things that they do not want in their study because it makes
them confuse about what they need or to achieve.
CONCLUSION
This report disused about study skills such as time management which is essential in the
whole process of higher education. It has been concluded that this study discuss regarding
suggestion for TM for example, effective planning, setting goals and objectives and spending
accurate time on right activity. It discusses roughly importance of this skills in students life that
manage their education program effectively. Furthermore, this report include proffer that
improve or develop more skill that work efficiently without any barriers.
