INTRODUCTION
 Communication is simply action of transferring information from one place to
another.
 It is activity of conveying meanings by utilise of mutually understood signals,
signs and semiotic rules.
 This study is based on Sport Love. It is an independent London based sports
and leisure centre business.
 It will explain common barriers and strategies to overcome it.

Communication is essential to every person in working it the any of organization.

 Physical Barriers: These barriers are mostly easily removable in principle.
 They include barrier such as noise, faulty and machines utilised for
communication.
 In Sport Love, the physical separation between different workers concerted
with faulty machines that outcome in terrible barrier to effective
communication.
 Language Barriers: : People have spoken various language in the workplace.
 Therefore, staff and management have faced many problems to effective
communication.
 In Sport Love, worker and administration are multinational with English not
necessarily being their first language.

Strategies to overcome barrier to
communicatio n
Sport Love follow different strategies to overcome barriers to communication
between staff and management in the workplace. These ways are such as
following:
 Clarity in thoughts
 Understanding the needs
 Utilise simple language
 Active listening

 Utilise simple language: It is necessary to use simple and appropriate
language as well as clear words.
 With it, easily overcome barrier to effective communication between staff
and management in Sport Love.
 Active listening: It is needed to listen carefully and actively. It refers hearing
with proper understanding of information that is heard.
 Speaker can ensure whether info understood by asking questions in the
workplace.

Way to culture influences
communication
People have many cultures which is influenced communication between them
while working in organization. In Sport Love, staff and management are
multinational working in the firm. But they are little connection between them.

because every person has different perception.
 So that, it directly influences on communication between people

administration in the workplace

CONCLUSION
 This presentation has summarised that different barriers to communication
such as Emotional Cultural, Physical, Language and Perception in the
workplace.
 It can be concluded that strategies to overcome the barriers like clarity in
thoughts, understanding the needs, utilise simple language, active listening,
avoid information overload and get feedback in the Sport Love.
