Workplace diversity is considered to be one of the major aspects that any organisation is
liable to focus upon. It can be argued that workplace diversity can e played as an impetus to
enhance the brand image of the company. Therefore, it is also important for the JKL Industries to
maintain workplace diversity inside the organisational structure of the company. According to
the terms and regulation of the company it can be ascribed that the company has a policy of
following diverse work culture and respect religion is also intertwined with the policy of diverse
work culture into the organisation.
As a matter of fact, the national regulation on diversity the Law Council of Australia has
advocated that ensuring equality in workplace must be followed by the organisations and in this
regard the companies have to adopt practices to provide equal opportunities irrespective of class,
ethnicity, gender and religion. In fact, the Law Council of Australia opines that respect in terms
of treating every employees fairly and courteously as well as prevent freedom and harassment
must be ensured by the organisational management. With referred to the Australian Human
Rights Act, 1986 the Law Council is committed to promote diversity in the name of equality,
respect and inclusion in workplace or in legal profession. In order make diversity a practice, the
Law Council includes mutual learning, respect and recognition programs in the process
(Lawcouncil.asn.au 2018).
Therefore, in the JKL Industries it will be helpful if the management starts some
programs regarding diversity. At first, it is the responsibility of the management to let the
employees about the diversity policies of the organisation. In this regard, during the recruitment
process the newly recruited employees are being informed about the practice of diversity inside

the company and for the old employees there should be a session on diversity. It can be argued
that to formulate the essence of workplace diversity, the JKL Industries can organise some

the office can be another measure that will render a visual impression of diversity. In this
context, as a leader and the operation manager of JKL Industries it is my duty and responsibility
to continue workplace diversity in my team. For this, I shall communicate with my team
members in a daily basis and assure them all my assistance related to the job and the workplace
culture. Besides this, a direct connection with the higher authority and the HR management can
also be a firm step to establish diversity in workplace. My positive attitude towards the team and
categorise the team members on the basis of their skill rather than religion will be a good
initiative as far as I am concerned.
Question 2
The organisational environment of the JKL Industries is fractured with lack of
understanding regarding the diversity of the teams. In this regard, there are some facets of the
organisation such as race and ethnicity and the religious aspects. Lack of understanding about
team work is an essential factor in this context. As a result of that in case of team work there will
be a great deal of problem among the team members that can facilitate poor quality of
production. As an operational head it is my responsibility to deliver quality production all the
time and the future of the company is depended upon me. Therefore, by no means this kind of
practices can be tolerated.
In this context, as the team leader I will conduct a meeting with my team members. The
meeting also includes the higher authority in course of let the employees informed about the

As the manager of Brisbane area I would try to build networks which can help in the
creation of positive relationships with the people who are internal and external to the
organization. The medium size of the organization thereby increases the need to effective
networking with the people within the company and with those who are present outside as well.
The effective planning of workforce is also made possible with the help of successful
communication networks. As a manager it is my duty to form a network of people so that the
positive relationships can be created in an effective manner (Conrad and Sollitto2017). The
communication networking based activities are important for the managers of the company to
achieve their organizational goals along with the others in the organization. The network with
internal people or employees can be created with the help of official social media groups that can
help them to share the views in an efficient manner. On the other hand, the company website can

other so to achieve the goals that has been set by the management. I had tried to build strong

process had been helpful for me create positive and effective relationships with the employees
who were a part of the different teams. These positive relationships had been helpful for the
