Efficiency and effectiveness are essential for the organization to survive in the
competitive environment. Efficiency is related to doing the things in the right way and also
effectiveness is doing the right thing. Efficiency and effectiveness of the organization can be
attained by enhancing the motivation levels of the employees who are working in the
organization. Employees are considered as an asset of the organization. If they perform well and
attain goals and objectives then it can be evaluated that organization effectiveness and efficiency
can be enhanced in a proper manner.
Organization can easily attain the effectiveness and efficiency by adopting latest
technology that will enhance the working structure. The latest technology helps the employees to
reduce the workload and also gives focus on maximizing the productivity level. If the company
considers the latest technology then the productivity and profitability can be enhanced in an
effective manner. In the organization, there are various technologies that are used to conduct the
operations or the activities. With the use of technology, the complex activities can be simplified.
To adopt the latest technology the company can easily accomplish the goals and objectives. By
considering the recent scenario, it is evaluated that latest technology is essential for the
organization, as it helps to reduce the workload of the employees. If the workload of the
employees is reduced then it can give direct impact on the motivation level (Armstrong and
Taylor, 2014).
The organization survives when there are efficiency and effectiveness of a management
or the manager. Efficiency is related to the use of financial, human, physical and information
resources so that the output can be enhanced or the input can be decreased related to quantity and
quality of the output. If the manager is efficient towards the working structure of the
organization, then it is analyzed that goals and objectives can be enhanced. In enhancing the
effectiveness and efficiency of the organization, the manager also plays a great role (Oakland,
2014).The management is related to completing the things that are done and also it determines
that how the activities can be accomplished. In the mind of every manager, there is a debate that
is related to the low production and also to attain the goals and objectives. Effectiveness is

concerned with the job that is done correctly whereas the efficiency is concerned with the job
that is completed in a simple and inexpensive process (Block, 2016).
Organization effectiveness is concerned with the efficiency of the business. The
organizational effectiveness can be attained by using the tools and strategies that accomplish a
specific goal. The strategies are:
a.) Make use of human resources: The Department of human resource has a significant role
in enhancing the success of the company. The human resource gives help to design the
new strategies for the business. The human resource professional in the company pays a
significant role in employing new employees and also that give direct effect on the goals
of the company. The human professionals are engaged in designing and also in
implementing changes so that the efficiency and effectiveness can be enhanced in a
proper manner. It gives unique perspectives to the leaders so that they can play an
effective role in searching for the right professionals and also for recruiting efficient
employees in the organization (Burke and Noumair, 2015).
b.) Education and growth: The organizational leadership needs active actions to conduct
their work with groups and individuals. The leader takes into consideration strength and
weakness of various specialists before creating a plan of act so that the effectiveness can
be enhanced of the company.
c.) Keep the customers in mind: Organizational effectiveness and efficiency only established
when there is a proper evaluation of the needs and interests of the customers. Quality
management is an important aspect to enhance the overall efficiency of the company. If
the professionals do not give a quality service or the products then the customers look for
the needs and goals. It is also important to ask customers to fill the surveys and also to
give the answer that is related to the services that are offered. Feedback from the
customers can be taken from the social media pages also. It offers a platform to the
customers to leave comments or tell about the weakness of the company (Cummings and
Worley, 2014).
d.) Work on quality products and services: The clients or the customer have a great role in
enhancing the effectiveness of the organization. The business should identify the quality
for the products and services that are offered. The main emphasis is on maintaining a

quality balance with cost-effective solutions. The goal of the organization is to improve
the products without enhancing the price range level (Goetsch and Davis, 2014).
Organizational leadership also needs participation in the decision-making process. It is
important to ask the professionals in the different areas for improving the products
without enhancement in the cost for materials. If the different professionals are included
in various fields in the process of decision making, then the leader can achieve various
perspectives and ideas about better ways to enhance the company objectives (Burke,
2017).
e.) Use technology: Technology also plays a great role in the efficiency of the organization.
The computers and smartphones should be used to enhance the efficiency of the
company. It is important to conduct the activities with professionals in the field of
technology so that the best ways can be achieved to safeguard the business and client data
without the enhancement in the budget. Organizational effectiveness is related to the
business plan to enhance the efficiency of the company without minimizing the quality of
the products and services. In conducting the activities with different professionals in
different fields, a leader can easily attain new ideas and also reduce the cost of improving
the products (Jaques, 2017).
If the organization has efficiency and effectiveness, then it can be easy to attain the goals and
objectives. The main focus of the organization should be on improving the productivity level and
also the activities.
