INTRODUCTION
The research proposal determines to provide the reason behind the implementation of the various set
of tasks which serves to be essential within an organization. As this research proposal is based on the
way of determining health in terms of the elder people suffering from various disabilities. Thus, in order
to deal with the set of services in terms of maintaining proper care of the elder people, satisfactory set
of the services must be provided to determine the effective set of services towards the elder people
(Quinlan et al., 2019).
In terms of health, the patient’s satisfaction defines the type and the quality of services which are being
provided, as a patient serves as an important asset for the hospital in terms of maintaining the fame. It
has been found that in the past few years. Patients have actively participated towards the treatment
provided to them with reference to their disabilities and diseases, as the result of increasing their
concerns in terms of providing the secure, safe and quality of treatment, where the level of services
being provided by the health communities serves to be calculated in terms of satisfaction about the
various services provided (Pratminingsih et al., 2013).
In any sector, it serves necessary to determine the effective set of services with reference to the
demands of the customers with a motive to satisfy the demands of the customers which helps in
indicating the quality indicators with reference to the type of services provided in an organization. In
terms of determining the quality of indicators in the sector of health towards the elderly people, the
health care needs and condition-specific needs need to be satisfied with the high level of accuracy,
which affects the clinical outputs, medical claims and the treatment of the patients.
The important component in terms of providing the best health facilities to the elderly people deals with
the type of services provided to the patient during the time of treatment by the nursing staff, apart from
this the maintenance of the hygienic environment within the healthcare also contributes towards the
fast recovery of the patients in terms of providing the refreshing atmosphere which provides new hopes
in the patients resulting towards the recovery of the patients at the faster rate (Mayer, 2015).

RESEARCH AIM
The main motive of conducting this research is to understand the ways in terms of providing the quality
of care for the elderly people along with the aged care.
RESEARCH OBJECTIVES
The objective of conducting the research project is being framed as follows:
 To analyze the relationship between patients with various healthcare sectors or organizations.
 To identify the major set of driving factors defined in terms of the health of the elder people.
 To define the efficiency of health care organizations in terms of providing the quality of services
to the patients (Murakami et al., 2016).
RESEARCH QUESTIONS
The set of the research questions which will be included in this report are:
 What is the importance of maintaining the quality of services in a health care field?
 How effective way of implementing the various new services can lead to the health
improvement of elderly people?
 What the various set of the quality indicators defined in terms of the health care of elder
people?
 How efficiently the set of services are utilized in terms of providing the best facilities to the elder
people?
RATIONALE
As in the upgrading world of technologies and techniques, there are various issues defined in terms of
affecting the health of the people by the changing lifestyles and change in the quality of eatables which
have led towards the rise of a various new set of diseases. Thus, in order to critically evaluate the set of
the factors which leads towards the rise in improper management of health defined towards the elder
group of people. By the successful implementation of the research project, accurate understanding of
the various factors leading towards the decrease in defining the accurate health o the people will be

determined along with the set of solutions which serves to enhance the quality of services in terms of
the health care sectors along with the way defining the best set of services which aims to improve the
health-related issues found among the elder people as per the ages of classification Dean et al(2016).
As per the determination of the health-related issues there are many organizations which serve to
provide the effective set of services such as The NHS aims to provide the better set of facilities to his
patients by providing the accurate treatment to the patients, in order to determine the services in more
defined way, the trusts such as London Borough, Red Bridge contribute towards the treatment of the
young as well as the older people.
By the successful implementation of the projects, various factors leading towards the decrease in terms
of the quality of health will be analyzed, which can be applied over the existing set of the methodologies
and procedures in order to build up the best set of facilities in terms of dealing with the future aspects
and the future demands which has been defined on the basis of the sectors such as in Christie Hospital
NHS trust, UCL Hospitals, Wrightington hospital etc. (Nepstad et al., 2014).

LITERATURE REVIEW
According to Mayer (2015), in the world of ageing population, there is an increase towards the set of
problems defined in terms of the growing age of the people, which leads towards the increase in the
demand for the healthcare services, where the best quality of services provided to the patients serves as
the base towards the success of the organization or the community, such as the NHR Trust of UK, has
been developing the various set of technologies and the procedures which serves effective towards
resolving the health-related issues generated among the young and the old aged people. As the result of
which the community services plays the major role in determining the high quality of services towards
the set of the patients, where 40% of the public has its expenditures based on the health-related
services concerned with the age of 65 years old people, where the cost drivers are defined in the form of
long term care along with the charges of the admission fee defined in the hospital.
Where Kaur and Kaur (2015) defined that the most widely used model in terms of providing the qualities
related with the health care can be defined in terms of the quality indicators which are related to the
structure, procedure, and outcome of the health care. In which the process indicators define the actual
ways of implementing the services in terms of giving and taking the care. The structure indicators serve
to deal with the entities dealing with care setting such as resources and the materials required. The
outcome indicators deal with the impact of providing social care on the status of the patient's health.
Despite this, the process indicators provide the way of measuring the quality in terms of the direct
measures, which are applied directly towards the set of procedures defined in an organization.
According to Omotayo and Kulatunga (2015), the strategy related to the development of the services in
terms of dealing with the testing and implementation of the indicators in quality of community care for
the elder people, various set of searches were performed relating to the effective set of measures to be
taken for the development of the effective set of health-related services, which makes the decrease
towards the health-related issues observes among the elder people.
As per the analysis of Ayers and Odegaard (2017), the Quality of Life has been defined as the major
predictor in terms of physical independence, service utilization and mortality among the elder people,
where the elders belonging to the well-developed city experience the decrease in the Quality of Life,
due to set if many reasons which include change in terms of the living environment, health conditions,
rigid routine of daily lifestyle, and changed pattern of social interaction. Thus, in order to provide the

healthy lifestyle, many trusts such as Redbridge, London Boroughs which are the part of the NHS trust
have been providing the new ways of living the life which leads towards the decrease in the rise of
health-related issues.
Pegoraro et al (2018), noted that the due to the improper correlation among the perceptions of patients
with that of the professionals measures to evaluate the status of providing the quality of services in
terms of psychological status and lifestyle of the people, where it has been observed that the majority of
problems related to health and the functional impairment aims to rate the quality of life as per the care
professionals and researchers.

As per the health care services, the system in terms of providing the quality health care to the maximum
number of population, are defined in the minimum number of countries, where the care towards the
elder people as a special group has been unable to establish its attraction in the maximum number of
countries. In a general manner, the set of issues faced by the maximum number of elderly patients is an
improper implementation of the special care systems, which includes separate wards, special units, and
defined facilities for outpatients in the hospitals, where no existence of the outreach service has been
defined for the elderly community.
As per Murakami et al (2016), the number of physicians or geriatricians providing the special set of
training in terms of care towards the elderly people is rarely defined in terms of medical practitioners
defined in both public and private sectors. The health professionals in the field of nursing, paramedical
streams and medicals are not provided with the training in the sector of health care of elderly people.
Apart from this, the maximum number of service programs is unavailable for current health workers.

METHODOLOGY
The type of methodology implemented within the research is defined to be the mixed approach with an
aim to evaluate the accurate set of results as the output of research, where the combinations of the
qualitative and quantitative methods have been used in order to generate the most effective output
after conducting the research, with an aim of determining the best set of solutions towards the health
issues of the elderly people. The Qualitative research has been used to determine the results based on
the practical implementation of the research, which serves beneficial in terms of defining the progress
and development under the health-related sector of elderly people., which provides the effective set of
services towards the people in order to determine the best set of facilities determined in the sector of
health for the elderly people (Nepstad et al., 2014).
The Quantitative method has been used for determining the attitudes and behaviors in terms of
numerical interpretation of data and information, which serves effective in determining the cost in
terms of the data collection along with the various factors in relation with the environment, where the
primary and the secondary data has been defined as:
 PRIMARY DATA: It has been defined as the process in which the data and information has been
collected by the researcher directly from the source, which serves to be reliable as it deals with
the fresh set of data and information, which includes the set of methods like questionnaires,
surveys, group focus, etc. in terms of collecting the information.
 SECONDARY DATA: It has been defined as the process in which the information and data has
been collected from the existing set of resources which includes case studies, books, journals,
papers, etc., with an aim to successfully evaluate the best suitable output as per the conditions
of the research (Ayers and Odegaard, 2017).
